Ben and Frally: Ben and Frally should be expecting their twins any day now!! SPIN and Alternative Press mags: In the April Issue of btoh SPIN and Alternative Press magazines are articles about the band and their new ablum. CMJ mag: Article and "Army" on the cd sampler in April issue of CMJ mag. Check it out! New BFF ablum!!: The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner (new bff ablum) will be released April 27th!! Tract listing: Narcolepsy, Dont Change, Mess, Magic, Hospital Song, I thought about the Army, Redneck Past, Your Most Valueble Possesion, Regrets, Jane, Lullaby. Alternative Press mag: In the the Jan. issue of Alternative Press magazine there is and article about BFF and there new ablum that will be released this spring. BF5 ablum: Ben Folds Five are in LA right now recording a new ablum, which will be released sometime around February or sometime around there. CMJ mag: In the the Dec. issue of CMJ magazine the song "In Love" a duet with William Shatner from Ben's solo project Fear of Pop will be on the cd and there is like an review of it. Darren Jesse Contributes Track: Darren has recently contributed a song for the benefit album titled "Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services". Listen to his new song, "The Magic That Holds the Sky Up From the Ground", here in mp3 format. Anti-hit List Ben Folds and a track off his solo album, "In Love", have landed on Jam Music's Anti-hit List. Listen to it here in real audio. It is a duet with William Shatner, yes you DID read it right. Next Album: The band is dedicating their time this fall and winter recording and writing their next album, due for release in late winter 1999. As of now, it is an untitled record on Sony/550 Music. Fear Of Pop: Ben's solo ablum "Fear Of Pop" will be released November 17th. This is NOT ordinary Ben Folds material. It is more closely related to such music as Air or Propellerheads. He plays nearly every instrument on the album himself. Behind the Scenes: Read a behind the scenes interview with Ben. Hard Rock Live Rebroadcasted: On October 30, the BF5 Hard Rock Live appearance will be reaired. Bette Midler covers "Boxing": Bette Midler is in fact covering "Boxing" featured on her new album, Bathhouse Betty, due to hit stores September 15th. Recovery: Recovery, a show in Australia, aired an episode with Ben Folds Five, July 25th. Check out pictures taken from the show, along with their wacky outfits. House of Style: Okay, Ben Folds Five didn't take home the award, but oh well. You can still see a glimpse of Ben on the "House Of Style VMA special". Don't worry if you missed it the first 10 times around, be expecting many more reruns to come. Triple J Interview: A radio station in, once again, Australia, talked to Ben on the lines.
