The Congregation
"All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us."Amos 9:10
And who are "My people"? Doesn't GOD own the entire universe and everything in it? (Deuteronomy 10:14). So, "My people" would include everyone: all races, creeds, colors, languages, etc. And "sinners" are the transgressors of GOD'S laws, the disobedient (I John 3:4-11).
"And the LORD said unto Cain ... if thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted (have the excellency -- salvation)? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door...."Genesis 4:6-7
GOD'S laws apply to everyone (see: item 2, SECTION I ). And the Word of GOD has been around from the beginning (John 1:1-10,14; Revelation 19:13).
Yes, repentance, restitution, sin offerings, atonement, forgiveness of sin, etc. have been around from the beginning. And in these latter days, when troubles come upon people, many will pay heed and seek to obey the Word of GOD.
"That then the LORD thy GOD will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy GOD hath scattered thee."Deuteronomy 30:1-3
(Isaiah 56:1-8; Leviticus 26:1-14; Hosea 1:10-11;
II Chronicles 7:14; Nehemiah 1:8-9).
And "all the nations" refer to the glitter and glory of ancient Babylon and Pharaonic Egypt, the whoredom of Sodom and Gomorrah, the brutality of ancient Assyria, the mercantile domain of Tyre and Damascus, etc.
The two true divisions of people emerging from Eve (the mother of all living) unto these latter days have been known to all people throughout history. And all people have been free to transfer from one group unto the other as they so chose regardless of race, color, creed, language, heredity, wealth or lack of wealth, education, gender, etc.
Yes, the basic criteria for entering either of the two divisions have been readily available for anyone interested; therefore, no one has a complaint if they are not amongst those entering the eternal Congregation.
So, what are these two divisions? The obvious answers:
Righteousness versus Unrighteousness
Obedience versus Disobedience
GODLINESS versus Wickedness
Faithfulness versus Unfaithfulness
Yes, it all boils down to an individual's behavior: their thoughts, words, and deeds; how one treats their fellow man; and one's respect for GOD.
Thus, from the beginning there have been two basic divisions with all shades of gray between the two extremes. Where GOD draws the line between Good and Evil is up to each individual's own behavior; an individial's will (what rules does an individual's central judgment center operate by?); does an individual seek to live righteously because they want to or are they simply putting on a show for their neighbors, their religious institution, their boss, or other social group? Are individuals naturally motivated or are they being forced to comply by whatever forces are at hand? Yes, bought righteousness or forced compliance is far different than one acting out of love or a natural propensity.
Essentially because of man's disobedience all mankind have been dwelling in "the land of the North" (Magog), the domain of Satan (Gog) (Deuteronomy 29:28; 31:16-21; 32:16-21). That is, as this world evolves, even throughout these end times, GOD has established Satan and his servants over this disobedient world (Psalm 28:5; Isaiah 5:12; Luke 4:5-7; Daniel 2:28, 37-38; etc.).
For example: starting with Solomon the human throne over the Sixth Kingdom ("Judah") served as Satan's human vicar or agent governing, robbing, and afflicting this world (Psalm 73:1-28; Isaiah 10:5,13-14; 17:14; 42:22; 51:21-23; Daniel 8:23-25; Jeremiah 12:1-17; 5:15-17; Deuteronomy 32:21; etc.).
Now, the world has entered a special final 42 year-hour (1/24 times a 1,000 year-day) that has transitioned from the Sixth unto the Seventh Millennium. Simultaneously, the world throne has transferred from within Jewry (Genesis 49:1,10; Jeremiah 17:1-4; etc.) unto the two families, the Christians and the Moslems, who now reign over the Seventh Kingdom (the two horns or powers: Revelation 13:11; Daniel 8:3; the two families: Jeremiah 33:24; two nations or Kingdoms: Ezekiel 35:10; 37:15-22). However, few people realize what has been happening and that the Seventh Kingdom (Revelation 17:10-11), although charged with cleaning up the corruption engendered by the throne of the Sixth Kingdom and those serving it, actually does far worse as its leadership serves the "beast" (Jeremiah 22:1-9; Revelation 17:12-17; compare Revelation 13:1-10 with 13:11-18).
Finally, an Eighth Kingdom materializes whereover Satan, himself, reigns in the physical as the false Messiah. Actually, the Eighth Kingdom will consist of the tares, those who fail to enter the more righteous Congregation, the Southland, scheduled to materialize during the Seventh Kingdom.
Therefore, until the Congregation materializes, people will have been forced to continue dwelling captive in "the land of the North," this disobedient world, and will have served the King of Babylon (Satan) seventy years (a life-time) (Psalm 90:10; Jeremiah 25:11; 29:10; Zechariah 1:12; Isaiah 23:15,17; 24:4-5).
Yes, in "the land of the North," GOD'S righteous laws and ways remain virtually unheeded and forgotten; the wicked prosper (Psalm 73:1-28); and the four great powers (called beasts when serving the left, the North), indeed, serve the disobedient. Afterall, Magog is Satan's world! And, although people are warned to obey (Deuteronomy 30:1-3; Isaiah 56:1-8), to "come out of her, My people" (Revelation 18:4; Jeremiah 51:6; Nehemiah 10:28), everyone must remain captive until the Congregation (the Southland) materializes.
Then the separation of the Good versus the Evil, the Obedient versus the Disobedient, will become very obvious to everyone.
The Ten Tribes dwelling in perpetual darkness without the Glory of GOD, the Egyptian Captivity of Israel, the Babylonian Captivity of Jewry, and man's life in "the land of the North" (Magog) -- all have been without the Glory of GOD with resulting consequences especially for anyone departing or separating themselves from evil and evil ways (Isaiah 59:15; 42:22; Ezekiel 34:8,28; Nahum 1:12; Revelation 13:15).
However, in these end days, GOD'S Holy Ark is to be brought forth from its imprisonment at the hands of Jewry and the Glory of GOD (Shiloh) will once again dwell amongst people (Zechariah 5:4,9-11; Nahum 2:7; II Samuel 20:18-20; Song of Solomon espec. 2:7; 3:5; 8:4; Isaiah 29:6; 40:5; Zechariah 2:5, 10-13; Leviticus 26:11-12; II Samuel 7:6-7).
And, in these latter days, the gathering of the people will be unto Shiloh (Genesis 49:1,10; Psalm 78:60) while a Human Shepherd, a man like Moses, will teach and guide them in preparation for the Glorious Solemn Assembly (Psalm 110:5-7; Numbers 27:16-17; Isaiah 49:5-6; 51:1-8; 61:1-3; Malachi 4:5-6; Jeremiah 50:44; Genesis 49:1,24; Zephaniah 3:18).
"And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."Daniel 7:14
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multltude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands."Revelation 7:9
"And the Seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the Kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our LORD, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever."Revelation 11:15
The Human Shepherd comes first (Malachi 4:5; Isaiah 49:5-6).
GOD'S Holy Ark is restored unto the rightful custodian (Deuteronomy 29:29; Zechariah 5:9-11), the Glory of GOD (Shiloh) will be seen by all (Isaiah 29:6; 40:5; Zechariah 2:5,10-13), and the Congregation will cleave unto "Shiloh" (Genesis 49:1,10). Note: item 2 may be switched with item 3 if people persist in disregarding GOD'S Word (Leviticus 26:11-12,14 etc.).
The Congregation are betrothed to GOD (Hosea 2:19-21; Revelation 7:1-3,9).
The Betrothed Bride is given unto the Son - The Son Receives His Kingdom (Daniel 7:13-14, 27; Revelation 11:15).
And the marriage is consummated on the Glorious Solemn Assembly (Revelation 19:5-9; Zephaniah 3:18; Leviticus 23:36,39; Nehemiah 8:18; Matthew 24:29-31; Daniel 9:25).
