GOD'S Responses

THIS DISOBEDIENT WORLD

          Among other responses GOD promised false prophets, phony laws, and stumbling blocks for this disobedient world (Ezekiel 14:3-11 espec. 14:9; 20:24-26; Isaiah 66:4; Jeremiah 6:21).

          Unfortunately for the blinded disobedient, these are amongst the greatest and most important mysteries of "the astonishment that maketh desolate" (Daniel 12:11; Isaiah 25:7-8).   The "astonishment," also translated "abomination," has been one of disobedient humanity's greatest mysteries as most people cannot accept the very obvious.

          Jesus, Himself, renamed Peter "Cephas" (John 1:42).   And "cephas" is from the Chaldean "kephas" meaning "the rock" which is comparable to the Hebrew "keph" meaning "a hollow rock" (See:  J. Strong's Greek Lexicon # 2786 and Hebrew Lexicon #3710).   That alone should start people to thinking.   Why did Jesus rename Peter with a name derived from "a hollow rock"?

          Peter, of course, saw a vision of a great sheet coming down from Heaven filled with all manner of clean and unclean (Acts 10:11-12).   The translators didn't help too much; but, if you checkout Acts 10:28 "any man" refers to a specific man, the progenitor (Revelation 19:13).   And it's obvious that polluted waters, lepers, etc. are unclean.   Yes, there are valid reasons for recognizing the clean versus the unclean ... both in ancient times, now, and forever (Leviticus 10:10-11; 11:46-47).

MORE DECEPTION

          An interesting example of deception may be seen by comparing the true with the image (Revelation 1:12-16 versus Daniel 10:5-6).   Again, the translators didn't help.   But, if you check out the word "vision" (Daniel 10:7-8), mar'âh is also translated "lookingglasses" (Exodus 38:8).   And, when one looks in a mirror one sees an image, it's the opposite of the true.

          How many people have been aware that during their 70 year life span (Psalm 90:10) people have been destined to serve Satan, the image, 70 years more or less (Jeremiah 25:11-12; 29:10-19; Isaiah 23:15-18; Zechariah 1:12)?   Meanwhile, those who turn from evil ways of this world become a prey for evildoers (Isaiah 59:15; 42:22; Revelation 13:15; Ezekiel 34:8,28; Nahum 1:12; John 16:33).   Even the Human Shepherd of the Congregation has not been exempted (Compare Psalm 89:19-37 versus 89:38-52).

          Thus, when the image, the false Messiah, comes he seduces even one-third of the Congregation (Revelation 12:4).   Therefore, it behooves everyone to know when the True Messiah is to come in order to avoid the false.

THE TRUE MESSIAH

          Yes, people have been forewarned to know when the true Messiah is to appear (Matthew 24:50-51; Luke 19:41-44).

          "The Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

          "And shall cut him asunder (cut him off), and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites:  there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Matthew 24:50-51

          Jesus speaks of dire troubles coming upon people:  "... because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation."

Luke 19:41-44

          Indeed, everyone should know the "Day" and the "Hour" as the day is The LORD'S Day, a special 1,000 year-day, and the hour narrows events to The Final 42 Year-Hour.   Then Zephaniah and other Scriptures tie events down more precisely as the gathering is for "the Solemn Assembly" (Zephaniah 3:18) and that occurs in Daniel's 70th year (Daniel 9:2,25).   Paul, of course, explained that GOD'S Sabbaths, His New Moons, and His Seven Annual Holy Periods are shadows of things to come (Colossians 2:16-17).   Anyone can add 5 BC plus 1995 AD to come out with 2000 years.   Thus, 2000 years from the 5 BC Birth of Jesus actually ended in the spring of 1996 AD.   That's also when The LORD'S Day Began.   See:  Diag. 7-2

          O.K., GOD'S Holy Days (Leviticus 23:1-44) of the Seventh Month (Leviticus 23:23-44) prefigure the initial years of the Seventh Millennium (Colossians 2:16-17).   Thus, Trumpets (6001/2001) began in the spring of 1996 AD; Atonement (6010/2010) begins in the spring of 2005 AD; the "Week" of Tabernacles, the consecration of the lost, (6015-6021/2015-2021) begins in the spring of 2010 AD; this completes the half hour (21 years) of Revelation 8:1; Isaiah 26:19-21.   See:  Diag. 7-3

          The end of Tabernacles also marks the end of The 35 Years Of Severe Tribulations described in Revelation 6:1 thru 16:21; Leviticus 26:14-33; etc.   So, if we back up 14 years before the start of The LORD'S Day we come to the beginning of the Tribulations.   This marks the beginning of The Final 42 Year-Hour (1/24 times a 1,000 year-day) which began in the spring of 1982 AD (upon completion of the year 5986 from Creation).   This also marked the beginning of the 14 Preparation Years through Passover (Nahum 2:3; Exodus 12:1-14) (i.e. 6000/2000).   The year 6000 was also the year of Jubilees (i.e. 120 cycles times 50 years per cycle equals 6000 years) (Genesis 6:3; Leviticus 25:8-10).   Thus, the Proclamation of Liberty occurred on Atonement Day of that year (6000/2000) on 3 October 1995 (Leviticus 25:10).   But how many people were even aware?   See:  Diag. 7-4 And 7-5

          You can even insert the Time Bridges between the ancient and the modern and it all fits like a glove.

          O.K., back to the Solemn Assembly which follows directly after Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:36,39; Zephaniah 3:18).   That's the year when the true Messiah arrives which follows directly after the 35 years of Tribulations (Matthew 24:29-31) and it's Daniel's 70th year (Daniel 9:2,25).   And the Solemn Assembly occurs on the 22nd day of the seventh Biblical month.   It's also the culmination of The Second 40 Year Exodus which began in the spring of 1978 AD (Micah 7:15; Jeremiah 16:14-15; 23:7-8).   See:  Diag. 7-6

          Remember, the consummation of the marriage of the Little Flock on the glorious Solemn Assembly is preceded by: 1. Jesus' receipt of His Kingdom (the giving of the betrothed wife unto Jesus) on Atonement (Exodus 21:9; Revelation 11:15; Daniel 7:13-14); and, 2. the earlier betrothal to GOD of the Congregation (Hosea 2:19-20; Jeremiah 3:14).   See:  Diag. 7-7

          Most people have remained disinterested in GOD'S laws (even His well publicized Ten Commandments) (Exodus 20:1-17); GOD'S Holy Days including His weekly Seventh Day of His Sabbath, His New Moon fast days, and His Seven Annual Holy Periods (Leviticus 23:1-44) while steadfastly keeping pagan substitutions; and, people have virtually ignored treating their fellow humans as they would like to be treated.   Today, people freely disregard the differences between the clean versus the unclean while, for example, eating the dead and utilizing the myriad by-products made therefrom:  i.e. lard, oils, toothpastes, soaps, gelatins, clothing, bakery products, etc.

MISSING THE BOAT

          Few people have taken time to examine the time and times and a half time (3½ millennial days from the Birth of Christ) (Daniel 7:25; 12:7; Revelation 12:14).   That's prefigured by the 42 months or years and 1260 days.   The three different forms [i.e. (1) 3½ years, (2) 42 months, and (3) 1260 days] refer to three separate occasions wherein people will enter the Kingdom of GOD.

          Actually, those who miss the glorious Solemn Assembly will have a second and third opportunity at the end of the 1,000 year LORD'S Day and again 500 years later.   However, during this period the fiery furnace, this world, will be heating up for sure as throughout this 1,500 year period Deuteronomy 28:1-14 versus 28:15-68 will apply.

          Scoffers and others who disregard GOD ought to be concerned.   Don't under estimate GOD.   His powers are awesome! (Exodus 4:11; I Samuel 2:6-10; Psalm 104:1-35; Daniel 2:20-22; Isaiah 44:24-28; 45:5-12; 54:16; Proverbs 16:4; Ezekiel 14:9).

          "And the LORD said unto him (Moses), Who hath made man's mouth?   or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind?   have not I the LORD?"

          "The LORD killeth, and maketh alive; He bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.

          "The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich:  He bringeth low, and lifteth up.

          "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory:  for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and He hath set the world upon them.

          "He will keep the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

          "The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall He thunder upon them:  the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and He shall give strength unto His King, and exhalt the horn (powers) of His anointed."
