Rewards And Punishment Are Promised

The Surprise Of Surprises
(Part II)

The Cup, The People,
And
The Nations

TRANSFERRING THE CUP

"Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong:  for I have heard from the LORD GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth."

                                                                      Isaiah 28:22

"Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:

"Thus saith the Lord (the Human Shepherd: Malachi 4:5-6; Psalm 110:5-7), the LORD (the Messiah at the right Hand of GOD:  Psalm 110:1-4), and thy GOD that pleadeth the cause of His people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink of it again:

"But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over:  and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over."

                                                                      Isaiah 51:21-23

"For thus saith the LORD GOD of Israel unto me (Jeremiah); Take the wine cup of this fury at My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

"And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.

"Then took I the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me...

"Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the GOD of (true) Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

"And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

"For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by My name (I Kings 11:36), and should ye be utterly unpunished?   Ye shall not be unpunished:  for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts."

                                                                      Jeremiah 25:15-17,27-29
                                                                           (Also 16:18; 17:18)

Where the term "LORD of hosts" is found in Scripture, that Scripture relates to GOD'S Holy Ark whereover The Glory of GOD appears.   And since GOD'S Holy Ark was taken prisoner by International Organized Crime's agents back in 1985 AD, disaster has been foretold for those responsible for doing so (Zechariah 5:4; Joshua 7:1-26).   So, let's continue with Jeremiah 25.

"Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter His voice from His holy habitation (the hiding place wherein GOD'S Holy Ark is being held prisoner?); He shall mightily roar upon His habitation (the lands of the Middle East); He shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

"A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, He will plead with all flesh; He will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.

"Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

"And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth:  they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground."

                                                                      Jeremiah 25:30-33

GÔY AND GÔYIM

In Scripture the terms "gôy" and "gôyim" (singular and plural) (Strongs #1471) are translated "people, nations, heathen, Gentiles" and Scripture applies those terms to all people, nations, heathen, Gentiles, and Israelites dwelling in this world, Satan's "land of the North."   That is, until the more righteous eternal Congregation is formed the term "gôy" or "gôyim" applies to everyone.

For example, the throne over the Sixth Kingdom (the false Israel) was set up to afflict humanity.   And, throughout the millennia, they indeed played the role of the "Amalakites," the afflictors (Jeremiah 5:15-17; Daniel 7:8,11,20-24; 8:23-25).

"Lo I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD:  it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say."

                                                                      Jeremiah 5;15
                                                                      (See 5:15-17)

And, since true Israel had been dispersed amongst all peoples, languages, kindreds, nations, tongues, etc., no one truly knows who is who (Daniel 7:14; Revelation 7:9).

Yes, the term "gôy" even has been applied to the ancient Israelites, for example, as they crossed the river Jordan.

"And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan."

                                                                      Joshua 3:17

"And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan...."

                                                                      Joshua 4:1

Even Daniel 11 uses the term "gôy" as it speaks of the throne over the Seventh Kingdom.

"And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully:  for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people."

                                                                      Daniel 11:23

Jeremiah 10:2-5, for example, translates the same "gôy" as heathen in conjunction with the Christmas tree.   Zephaniah 2:9 translates "gôy" as people when it refers to the gathering as "the remnant of My people shall possess them."   Zechariah 12:3 refers to "all the people of the earth."   So, the term "gôy" obviously has a very broad application as it refers to all peoples cast into "the land of the North."

However, until the cloud by day and shining like a flame of fire by night appears (Isaiah 4:5; 40:5), true Israel (the eternal Congregation) will obviously remain as "gôy" or "gôyim" along with everyone else.   Whereas, those who falsely claim to be Israel have prematurely discarded the term "gôy."   Smile!

THE NATIONS

Scripture speaks of curses and other afflictions upon both wicked individuals and wicked nations, groups of people.   If a nation, for example, does evil (i.e. pursuant to national and other leaders) then that nation is to be afflicted.   However, like wicked individuals, today disobedient nations:  promote myriad abominations; protect and serve International Organized Crime; protect Nazi lebensraum seizing people's homes and properties while holding victims in economic poverty and servitude; and, like the bully the wicked nations attack the much weaker victims while accusing the victims of all sorts of trumped up wrongdoings.   Such bully nations will eventually suffer the wrath of GOD.

          "At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

"If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

          "And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

"If it do evil in My sight, that it obey not My voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them."

                                                                      Jeremiah 18:7-10
                                                                         (Also 22:1-9)

Today, like the wicked ones, such nations have not yet been chastened.   And, for the years of vile misery they have caused others, would it be fair to give them only a ten or twenty year slap on the wrist?   Perhaps they too will endure 1,000 or 1,500 years or more of great tribulations.

          Time will tell ... eh?

"His eyes (the eyes of the more righteous) shall see his (the wicked's) destruction, and he (the wicked) shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty."

Job 21:20
Psalm 91:8
Zechariah 9:8
