As Goku and Piccolo are fighting Raditz, Piccolo's arm get's vaporized by Raditz's ki beam. Goku later on tries to hurt Raditz with a Kamehameha. While Goku is doing this Piccolo charges up a Makankassappo and fires at Raditz. Raditz dogdes that, but the beam had damaged his armor. right after that Goku grabs Raditz's tail and got him. Piccolo tell's Goku to hold on to the tail while he charges up his beam again. Raditz tricks Goku to letting him go and then Raditz beats up Goku and Piccolo again.
While Gohan is watching all this, he gets so angry and burst's out of the space ship surprising everyone, with such a ki that Gohan used.
