After several requests, I've decided to add Leona her own section of the mansion. With the high prices nowadays, having a second tenant helps with things. Also, at another, smaller, request, Whip will also get some space. Don't worry, this will be the only page they'll be on under the Kagura dir. Everything else will be in an ikari dir.

Chizuru won't be in '99!? I just recently played it. It's at a cheap arcade though; 1P's stick jams, while 2P, B & C jam. Surprisingly, I actually was able to make it through up to Kriz's second form! However, I am pleased to say that Whip is a very welcome addition--but why does she have only 1 DM; isn't it a law where all KOF fighters have to have at least 2? She also doesn't make a very good striker. More on that, later.
Hopefully, after taking forever to get around to updating my pc, I'll be able to do some 'actual' SNK sprite rips, and not just PSs. Now, all I need to do is to find a KOF'96 Rom, I want to start there, before I move on to bigger RAM eating romz.
If anyone out there who has/knows of a site with fanart, animations, etc (just no "mature content") for Chizuru, Leona, or Whip (with or without other characters), please help out! I REALLY need some help here! It's still going to be a bit for the two new ladies to fully move in.
WOW! Lota hits! Either there are a lot of Kagura fans out there; or since this is the only one, they want to see what's here. With countless shrines to Mai, King, Kyo, and Iori, it's about time somebody did teammate #3! ^_~ I can also probably count most of the hits from the fics, and the rings. Why some does loon want to dedicate a shrine to Chizuru Kagura? There are a few reasons:
1) There are shrines dedicated to just about every other female video game gal out there; Chizuru Kagura doesn't have one, so I took it upon myself to create one!
2)It's her dance wins. Press B after you KO your foe/just as time runs out...what? You mean you didn't know you could pick your win poses. Use A/B/C to pick 1 of 3 win poses for your faves; none beat this one! ~_^ In '98, you can also press D. It seems that she's got some new wins for 98! I hit C, and it did something VERY different. The B also looks different. So, until either AI (or somebody else) makes them, I'll only have the 97 ones :| However, it doesn't seem to work for 99 :|
3)She's the only team member (with Kyo) where Iori can have a REAL ending in 97...one of my faves! If you are a KOF fan, you must see this ending!
FYI: Shingo-Kyo-Iori's an edit ending. Mixing Orochi Iori/Leona for the regs will also do an edit. Only mixing the Orochi Team and Orochi Power Team will a "mix team" get an ending.
4)Other guys in the GAME actually call her a babe, or other flattery (KOF'96).
Sie does--hey, if Athena won't pay attention to him...
Kim does (and you thought he was just a goody. Somebody, call his wife; maybe
he can blame Chang).
Iroi does--considering his teammates...
Ralf does--now you know what's eating Leona; Orochi has nothing to do with
it! That is why you don't see more shrines to her, all of the other babes
are working against her.
5-Her storyline. This is probably the most important one! She's the final member to the legendary team, the ones that sealed off Orochi all those generations ago. To get Kyo and Iori to work together; to accomplish this is a Helluva job.
Leona:
1-I ran a poll a while back, and Leona kicked Mai's ass!
2-Gotta luv the Orochi Leona; it makes a great psych-out, especially for those new to the series (this works great if you can really 'get inot the part' *ewl*).
3-She is one of the few girls in ANY fighting game that not only has the attitude, but can actually kick ass! She does great against all the end bosses.
Goenitz-she's probably the best to take him out!
Orochi-not the best, but can still do well.
Rugal-not easy, especially with that electric spark of his.
Krizlid-it takes a lot of timing, but I was able to take him out rather well.
4-her long legs! 8] Besides what we all may be thinking, they help--her air throw has priority over every other in KOF. Her down+D has range, and will often get you under fireballs--works well when your foe's almost KO'd.
5-Her story. You think your life's hard? Imagine having Leona's! I don't know the exact age, but I think she was under 10, when she killed her own parents. Imagine, going through life, with that buried so deep down, that you get amnesia. Then, add to it the Blood Riot. She goes into a state where she has no control over herself, and could kill anyone who may get close to her--and she can't stop herself; she isn't even aware of it!
Whip:
1-You've got to love that laugh!
2-You don't have to be a certain vampire hunter to be a pro with a whip.
3-Her story's real confusing; although I don't have everything, yet. I beat the game with her team, and as they flea, she goes back for Kriz. He asks his 'sister' why she left the organization. After a string of insults (and constantly calling him a copy), she tells him that he's a clone. She asks him about father's face, and he draws a blank. You then see K'.
Now in Japan's opening, Kriz asks K' about his parents, and he draws a blank--but I haven't seen the ending, yet.
Who's the clone, or are they BOTH clones? Is Whip a clone--you see what you did, Marvel?
