"Chica," Samantha called as she approached Candy who was sitting on a wooden bench outside the bathrooms with her forehead resting on the palms of her hands. AJ and Elisa followed close behind. "Are you okay? We've been looking all over for you."
"Yeah, I just broke up with Brian but I'm okay," Candy said looking up at her friends revealing her tear-stained face and forcing a smile.
AJ took a seat next to Candy. "Listen, it'll be okay. Don't worry," he reassured her with a hug. "Brian has his odd moments. You two will be back together before you know it. Trust me. Now, we came here to have fun, and it's no fun when our Candy is miserable. So, cheer up and let's go have some fun."
Candy wiped her eyes with her sleeves, right when Goofy approached them.
"Goofy!" Samantha screamed, throwing herself at him. "Come on Candy, you love Goofy!"
Candy smiled, and Goofy pointed to his eyes wondering why she was crying. Candy simply shook her head and gave Goofy a big hug. Elisa joined in, and Goofy signaled for a lonely AJ to join them too. However, AJ was too cool for this; he stepped around Goofy and patted him on the back. "Okay, let's go guys," Candy said stepping away and waving "goodbye" to Goofy.
"Off to the Tele-watchamacallits!" Samantha yelled to Candy who hurried with Elisa to the chair lifts.
"This our chance!" AJ whispered to Samantha.
"I thought Bri was afraid of heights," Samantha whispered back.
"That's the whole point. Nick's convincing him to go on the chair lifts, and he'll end up having to sit with Candy...and..."
Samantha nodded. "I see where you're getting at. You're a genius!"
