//chapter one

"OK I can do this, I just walk up the steps open the door and walk in, its not that hard" Alexia said talking out loud " great now, not only am I frozen in the middle of the side walk I am also talking to my self" she said sarcastically "OK lets study the situation, its go up into john's office and change my life completely or stay here, frying in the sun and ruin my skin" she looked at one hand and then the other as she said this "I've always enjoyed good skin so the option is clear, now the problem is getting this two stupid legs to work" Alexia was so nervous her body had completely frozen waist down. she took a deep breath and walked up the black marble stairs. as she came to the top of the stairs she pushed the glass door open and a whiff of could air hit her body sending chills up her spine 'guess I'll have to get used to this' she said laughing silently. she walked through the large room that was decorated very modern she noticed everything was decorated with either black leather or black marble with a few green plants 'talk about massive depressive decorator' she told herself as she looked around everything moved fast around her, she didn't mind it, this was actually slow motion for her 'I survived New York I can survey Florida' she thought "miss Fernandez" her thought was interrupted by a female voice "ugh" was all that she managed to say as she realized she had gone back to lala land "Mr. Hank is waiting for you in his office, miss" the blond receptionist said as she sat back down behind the large desk "thanks, its floor 23, right" she aid heading to the elevators "yes, uhm I don't want to sound impertinent but may I have your autograph" the young girl said suddenly turning shy. Alexia laughed softly and walked back to the desk. "thanks" "no problem" Alexia smiled back as she pressed the button to call the elevator

'what is it with blondes and Florida, 90% of the people I have met are blond' she thought as she waited impatiently. she was already late and the elevator was not making the situation any better. she noticed a group of people behind her, she heard them speaking so she diced to easedrop, she was board and wanted to entertain herself as she waited for the extremely slow elevator. "look at that ass, I give it a 10 no a 20 definitely on a scale of 1 to 10" a man with a raspy voice said "ouch , what was that for" he said again "she is probably not deaf and you don't have a quiet voice, bone" another voice said. Alexia decided not to say anything she just laughed lightly "excuse me miss" Alexia heard a deep mature voice as someone tapped her shoulder making her turn around immediately. as she turned she saw the expression on all three men and this made her laugh. they were all stunned to see how beautiful she was. she was about 5'7, with a light tan, she was built very well , just the right proportion in every spot, her lips were a perfect shape, very detailed , but not to big or to small just perfect, and she had the most beautiful blue-green eyes they were deep and peaceful, they seemed to sparkle. her reddish blondish hair was turning a golden brown tone it was cut in layers and they fell so perfectly on her face. she smiled again as the tall man with dark hair spoke again "I would like to apologize for my friend here" he pointed to a man about 5'9 with orange hair and yellow shades who was wearing a skin tight black shirt and baggy dark demi jeans "he just does not know how to act properly in front of a lady like your self" he continued, he had a small accent of some kind but she really couldn't figure out from where but it seemed very familiar. she smiled noticing how hansom he was, he had light yet tanned skin with green eyes that could melt any girls heart, he was wearing a light blue shirt with a pair of kaki pants that made his tall erect body look even more heavenly "no harm done here but next time, be more discrete if your going to judge girls ass, I am used to it but someone else would have slapped you silly" she said joking .she turned to the younger looking man who was standing on her left side, he was as or even taller than there dark hair man. he had blond hair that fell softly on his face, he had the most beautiful blue eyes, she notice his hands were in the pockets of his black slacks, he was wearing a yellow shirt which was unbutton and had a white tee underneath, Alexia smiled at him. making him blush, she let out a faint laugh.

ding!! Alexia heard the elevator and turned around and walked in "its about time " she said to her self softly yet out loud. she turned and pressed the door open button, she looked at the three men and they looked as if they had been frozen by the air conditioner that was turned on way too high "so are you coming or waiting for the next train" Alexia said with a skeptical smile. as awoken from a dream the three men walked in and said nothing. Alexia pressed 23 and saw the doors close slowly. "this is going to be a long day" she said "uhm, excuse me asking, but have we met " the blond man asked, 'in my dreams ' Alexia thought to her self "I don't think so" she said looking down at the floor "its not a pick up line, if that is what you think , you just seem very familiar" he said gently grabbing her elbow making her look up at him" you know who you look like" the man with the black hair said " like Alexia Fernandez, the actress" Alexia laughed "you could say I do " she answered, looking at the confusion in all three faces, she suddenly knew who they were "so can I get a name" she asked to make sure she wouldn't make a fool out of herself "I am Aj" the man with orange hair said as he reached for Alexia's hand and kissed it gently making her smile, "I am Kevin" the dark hair man said shaking her hand firmly "did your daddy show you that" Alexia said now knowing the accent was a from Kentucky "yes mamm" he smiled "and I am nick " the blond man answered with his hands back in his pockets, she knew he felt wired, so she just smiled at him "and what is the beautiful name that goes with this beautiful woman" Aj asked " do women really fall for that line" she laughed, Aj just shrugged his shoulders "just call me ale" she said as she felt the elevator stop. Alexia turned around and yelled "see ya around bsb" smiling she turned around and walked away.

"you guys" nick said suddenly realizing who she was "I think we just met Alexia Fernandez, and made complete fools of our selves" nick said as she started to disappear in the crowd "shit" was said in unison by all three, as they ran out of the elevator. they stopped in front of the same girl they had talked to on the elevator. she was wearing a black short flary skit that came up to half of her thigh, with a skin tight light green tank top. she slowly took her sunglasses off the top of her head that were working as a head band and put then into her black bag it looked like a small backpag, and her black strap highheels made her legs even more perfect. she turned around to see three breathless men next to her and this made her laugh "I .....I mean......" Kevin tried to speak but it was impossible "we never thought that 'you' would ever be on the same elevator as us, not even the same building" nick managed to say in one breath. Alexia smiled " its OK, I actually like the fact not being recognized" she said taking out a pen and pad of paper out of her purse "here is the hotel I am staying at, and don't ask for me, ask for Sassi, call me lets have lunch some time " she said giving the piece of paper to nick and walking away. the three men just stud there stunned, as Alexia pushed the large black door she heard a yell "yes!!!!!!!" she turned around and saw the estatic look on all three faces. she smiled and waved back as she walked into john's office.

"al, were where you, I was expecting you an hour ago" john said as he greeted Alexia at the door "sorry, I got lost and then I freaked outside and then , well you need to get someone to fix the speed on the elevators" she said laughing "what" she asked noticing john was staring at her. John was about 50, his hair was in the fading stage half was light brown and the rest was a mixture of white and gray, he was about 5'9 and was a little over weight, time had not been very kind to his complexion he had more wrinkles than his linen shirt had ' too much sun ' Alexia always said "no nothing its just you look different" he said sitting on his black leather chair behind a cluttered desk full of papers and picture frames with timeless memories. behind him about 17 frames with golden albums "what " Alexia asked again " you have this , I don't know, are you dating someone" "no" Alexia said laughing "but I just met the most gorgeous men outside" she continued laughing "then that is it , I could always tell when someone came into your love life " he said looking out the large window on the right side of the room "yeah specially when marry tells you that I am here , but talking with three guys" she looked at him sarcastically "hey she is a good source of information, and a great secretary" he said laughing "I am defiantly going to like this place" Alexia smiled at her self

//chapter two

Alexia walked out of the elevator onto the 40 floor of her hotel caring everything she practically didn't need as she made way to room 4001 she felt different like if someone had woken up something that had died inside of her. she didn't know what it was but she felt her body tingle and she knew it was thanks to the guys she had met earlier. as she got to the door she noticed a pile of news papers and magazines, as she went to pick them up she heard the phone ring "shit come on you stupid card, god I miss keys, OK here we go" Alexia belched out as she managed to open the door. she threw her things aiming for the couch but instead all landing on the floor "the hell with that .... hello" she asked trying to Catch her breath "al .... is that you" a male voice asked a little concerned " Steven !!!!!!! oh my god how are you" Alexia yelled into the speaker "a little deaf now " he joked "well actually great, I heard you were in Orlando and I decided to drop by to see how you are doing, we haven't seen you for a year, so I deiced it was time for some Catching up" "yeah I know, goawd its been a long time" she said sitting on the large bed next to the phone "so what are your plans for tonight" Steven asked gently, Steven and Alexia had been friends for a long time, he was actually the one who gave her the first acting job thanks to him she would rewrite history. they had met one day in New York; Alexia was late to class, how strange, and they crashed into each other on Broadway, she offered him a hand he offered her a life opportunity "well Mr. Spilburg, are you asking me on a date" Alexia laughed lightly "well that depends miss Fernandez, are you saying yes, cause Kate and I want to see you and we are only here for two more days" he answered laughing a little too "sure, pick me up at 8 " Alexia smiled at herself finding herself playing with the phone cord. "we'll be there at 7:59" he said before a good-bye and hanging up the phone.

"well its 5:30 and I need a shower, so I better get going" she said as she looked at her golden Rolex , she unbuckled it as she walked to the dresser. she turned on the TV and found herself staring at the image of her walking into the hotel "what is so fantastic, me walking into a hotel " she laughed trying to feel better of that situation. she turned around and walked in the bathroom. half an hour later she emerged form the steamy bathroom with a white robe and a towel on here head. she sat down on the bed and flipped through the channels stopping on MTV. "and now for our top story, Alexia Fernandez, the actress that redefined acting, who just a month ago won her fifth MTV movie award and not long before that won her forth Oscar making history again, announced just two days ago, that she would be taking a break from the movie making business and either work on other artistic factors or take a long vacation. well today she was spotted walking into jive records' building in Florida and we confirmed that she just singed a contract today for an album. " John Norris said with out pausing for air "wow Alexia, does move fast" Carson daily said impressed by the news "no actually the companies who want to singh with her are the fast ones, they say that she actually picked jive because of her long time friend producer john hanks and because friend Britney Spears is singhed to that label" " and also the two most important boy bands, n*synk and bsb, so she has a lot to lean on" Carson said as he ran his hand through his hair "well after the break more on Alexia, the bsb new album and your number one video of the day " Carson said as he was sent into a commercial "why is it that they record my every move" Alexia said laying flat on the bed. her thought was interrupted by the ring of the phone. she slowly reached for it "hello?" she asked softly "hey ale, so how is the hotel " "oh hi john, the hotel is fine " "hey I was wondering do you have plans for tomorrow night" he asked changing the conversation abruptly "no, don't think so" "great " he yelled " why " Alexia got intrigued by his yell "well I fixed up a dinner meeting with the head of jive records and vice, they want to make an important offer to you" he said sounding very happy. Alexia pressed speaker phone, because she had to get dressed "what , what kind of offer" Alexia asked as she put on a white tub top and a pair of black slacks "they want you to do a duet with someone" he said lowering his tone " a duet, why they think I cant sing" she raised her voice feeling a bit offended she pulled her long hair back and tied it in a bun "no nothing like that you'll see tomorrow, it at 7 :30 at....you know what I'll pick you up at seven at the hotel OK" "OK, hey thanks for calling, see you tomorrow " Alexia said her good byes as she finished applying a little makeup on her face she looked back at the muted TV and realized she had ten minutes to get down stairs "wow, does time fly bye " she said grabbing her purse and keys to her car and walked out the door.

"so what is this meeting about" Alexia asked as she entered the fancy restaurant with john "you'll see, just be patient" he smiled. they were taken out to the terrace with a view of the beach, the lighting was low, giving it a romantic mood as a live pianist played love songs and classics. as the waiter pulled the chair for Alexia she took her jacket off reviling a black shimmery strapless dress "what " Alexia asked as she saw the look on John's face "nothing, its just that you look great" he answered as he took his seat next to her " hey watch it I know your wife " Alexia laughed punching him lightly on his shoulder. they waited about ten minutes ordering drinks Alexia ordered a dry martini while john asked for rum and coke, as the drinks arrived two men walked to the table "sorry for the delay" an older man said shaking john's hand "we wanted to be looking our best for this lovely lady" he continued as he shook Alexia's hand . both men were introduced, the older man was the president of jive records and the younger man was the vice president " Alexia may I be direct with you" the young man asked "sure" she said not knowing what to expect "well we listened to your demo on the way over here, for the million time and we were blown away, you have an angelic voice, but..." "but you don't think I have the ability to sell albums" she asked a little annoyed "no, of coarse not, the thing is we wanted to ask a favor of you" Alexia looked confused at the response she had gotten "I will be retiring in a few months" the older man cut in " and my dream had always been to put together the perfect group" he said looking Alexia strait in the eye "I know I am in no right to ask you this but I would like you to join a group that has been with us for a while now, but they just came back from a very long break and well with your angelic voice I know that sales will increase four time more than expected, it would just be one album and then you could have your solo album" the man said playing with a very stylish zippo "so you want me to make your dream come true" Alexia asked smiling at him "you already have the perfect group, you singed the bsb" she said remembering her encounter of the day before "they came to us as a group, they found each other" the younger man said noticing the sadness in the older man's eyes "someone took a chance with me on Broadway, ..... and you seem to know what you are doing, and I know John totally agrees with this, so the answer is yes, I will do the album" Alexia smiled directly at the older man as the sadness was replaced with joy in his eyes . they ate dinner and left the subject of the album alone. as Alexia opened the door to her hotel room she realized she forgot to ask the most important question, who was this mysterious group she would be making an album with "well I guess we'll find out who they are tomorrow in the meeting" Alexia said out loud as she got ready for bed.

"hello???" Alexia asked yawing as she picked up the phone "how dare you not call me" the voice on the other side of the line screamed , Alexia looked at the watch next to her bed in read 3:17 am "what... Cat oh my god " Alexia said as she sat up in bed " you didn't call me and you say your my best friend" Cat said lowering her tone of voice "sorry its just that I've had a lot of work to do, will you ever forgive me " Alexia begged with an annoying tone of voice which she knew drove Cat crazy "OK...OK just stop talking that way and tell me how are you" she asked "well lets see.........

//chapter three

"I am definitely move in, in this elevator" nick said as he leaned on Alexia's shoulder "are you mad" Alexia looked at him strangely " no not really" he answered slyly "then why in the world would you build a camp on this elevator" she said playing with her car keys "well for starter its a nice elevator" he laughed " and secondly I've had the privilege to ride this elevator with you twice so I figured if I live here then I know I will get to ride it with you again " he said as he ran one hand through his blond locks making Alexia blush. as she noticed the hot feeling in her face she quickly turned away "thank you" Alexia said staring at the control panel "for what" nick said reaching out his hand grabbing her arm gently making her turn. "for restoring my faith in mankind" she softly smiled at him "but then again what if I ride the other elevator" "I'll just have to pray to the heavens up above, that you come in this elevator instead of the other , what, there's two " "seven" "other six elevators" he joked "so I heard last night your coming out with a new album, congratulations" Alexia said trying to get the conversation to drift elsewhere "thanks, but we haven't even started recording, actually we haven't done a thing " he laughed lightly as the elevator came to a stop. "can I ask you a question" "sure shoot away" nick said as they walked side by side "why didn't you call" Alexia said making nick come to a complete stop " you mean the phone you gave us was real" nick looked shocked and disappointed "what you think I give out fake phone numbers to good looking men just for the fun of it" Alexia said as she turned around to face nick who had stopped before she did "its just that you are you ....and we ... god I feel like suck an ass" he said running both his hand through his soft locks. Alexia smiled "cute" "what " nick asked as he looked at Alexia strait in the eye "the way you look when you get mad, you look cute" she said smiling " hey its only Wednesday you can still call me and we all can go out" "all??" "yes all, what you thought the phone number was only for you" she said teasingly "well..." nick said as he put his hand in his pockets "well you can call afterwards and we can go out alone" she said as she cradled his face with her palm "shit, john is going to kill me" she belched out as she saw the time on her watch " what" nick said confused " I have a very important meeting and I am incredibly late" she said as she started walking "hey wait up" nick yelled as he ran up to her "nick, call me I just have to get to this meeting " she said kissing his cheek softly and walking away

"sorry for the delay Alexia, its just that they are presenting the idea to the other group" John said as he noticed Alexia taping her pen against the table "you mean they don't know" Alexia turned and gave john 'the look ' "relax they know the concept but they are now finding out it you" he said sitting back in the black chair "oh...." Alexia said looking confused but calm "so who are they any ways" Alexia asked knowing this question was really what was bothering her "you'll see" John said as he grinned slyly " oh great, so they get to know who I am but I don't get to know who they are, what if I don't like them" "you will" "how do you know that" Alexia said getting a little angry "for starters you all ready know three of them and secondly here they come" Alexia quickly turned and smiled. she slowly leaned and whispered in john's ear "I am going to kill you" "oh my god its really her, she is soo....." Brian said as he started shaking "sexy" "unbelievable" "gorgeous" "incredible" they all answered on by one "no... real, man I've been her number one fan for ever, and now she is making an album with us, this is.... " "unbelievable" "not real" "incredible" they all waited for a stupid comment from star struck Brian but he just stared, making Alexia laugh "gentlemen " a suit said gesturing for them to sit down "all right lets get down to business" john said as he stud up from his chair "so its about 3:30 and we know you haven't eaten cause we've been stuck with you in that room since 9, so can we take you out for lunch" nick said as they walked out of the conference room "was it really that painful" Alexia looked at nick slyly " what ?" he asked confused "being stuck with me in that room for what six hours" she said as she continued walking "well yes" he answered making her stop "oh I see" she said turning around to face him "what is he doing" Howie elbowed Aj who where standing a few feet behind "flirting" he whispered back making Howie even more confused "it was painful cause you were on one side of the room while I was on the opposite end" he said gently as he walked towards her "so about lunch" he reached for her hand making her blush. "damn he is good" Aj said softly making sure she wouldn't here him. suddenly Alexia's cell phone rang making her jump "hello?" she said softly as she answered the phone "say yes" john said on the other end of the line "where are you" Alexia said smiling widely making nick a little uneasy "look at the window of the conference room discretely" he answered, as Alexia did this, she found john peeping through the large glass window with a phone in his hand "to what" she asked "to lunch you need some distractions" he said waving at her "thanks "she said waving back at him, making nick turn and look at him "OK "she said as she put the phone back in her black purse "was that.." "yes" she answered before he could even finish his sentence "so are they coming too" Alexia pointed at the four men standing in a group by the conference room entrance "well that depends" nick said teasingly "on??" Alexia decided to play his game "do you want them to come" he said as he looked her strait in the eye. Alexia paused for a second and finally smiled "so are you guys coming or do I have to go and get you all my self" Alexia yelled back at them from the elevator "I wouldn't mind that " Kevin said out loud making the guys laugh.

"so Steven just bumped into you and then offered you a job" Howie asked stunned at the explanation Alexia had given him about how she got started. she took a sip of her diet coke and started "yeah, I mean I bumped into him, making his organized life a mess cause all his papers flew in the air offered him a hand and he offered me an audition" she smiled as she saw a little girl run up to the table "Mr. Carter can I have.... oh Alexia can I have your autograph" she said with wide eyes as she turned her attention to the only girl in the table "sure, so what's your name cutie" she smiled as she took the pen and piece of paper from the young blond child "Julie" she quickly replied "you know that's my moms name" Alexia said as she singed the piece of paper "ugh" the little girl knodded " and your daddy's name is manuel and your full name is Alejandra Carmen" she continued stunning both Alexia and the guys "and how do you know so much about me" Alexia asked politely "cause I am your biggest fan " she smiled proudly, making Alexia laugh lightly "bye " the little girl said just before she ran off "a little composition, nick " Aj teased "stop that" he said as he punched Aj on the shoulder "OK, stop this, now back to your story "Howie said interrupting the playful fight between nick and Aj "so why music" Kevin asked "sorry are we on jeopardy and I don't know it " Alexia said as she laughed looking around " well, Britney was the one who actually got the idea in my head, and then everyone else just pocked the right buttons" she smiled "when you say Britney, you mean Britney spears" Brian asked gently "yep, we've been friend for a while and she was actually on my demo" she said as she took a bite of her cheese pizza "wow" Brian said as he stared at her eating "what" Alexia asked smiling knowing the answer to her own question "you really do eat" he answered "what you think everyone in Hollywood is anorexic, well think again, actually I exercise like a maniac that is why I can eat all of this" she smiled back "so my turn now, who of you have girlfriends" "that would be us three" Kevin said pointing at himself, Brian and Howie "and you" nick asked gently "girlfriends... well right now no one" she laughed making the guys smile "no seriously, I am single, I just broke up with someone" she said as she looked at her silver ring as she looked up her eyes met nick's making her blush, but for some reason she didn't look away.
