Hawaii

Truly, there is only one place like it on this earth.   It is here where dreams come to be and wonderous thoughts are provoked.   However, its powerful pull and mystic charm can only captivate and spellbound one's soul if you have ever had the pleasure and opportunity to visit its inner most fascinating beauty and experienced the wonder that abounds in this tropical geographically correct land.   It grabs at your heart strings, tugs on your emotion and doesn't let go.     It allures you into a sense of wonderment like no other place on earth.   It's almost like the earth opened up here to reveal something so fabulous that it literally takes your breath away.   For these reasons, I believe it was divinely master minded with a well designed purpose only destined to totally spellbound the soul, subdue the anxious and soothe the stressed.   It is magic ... it is Hawaii.... absolutely, without question and unequivocally, there is no place like it on earth ...

I had the fantastic opportunity in my lifetime to be a citizen of this region for a duration of exactly one year several years ago.   I lived and worked on Oahu on Waikiki Beach where the famous Diamond Head Mountain was a part of my everyday scenery backdrop.   More on this adventure to be continued ...

THE (8) MAIN ISLANDS OF HAWAII ARE ...

  Oahu ... The Gathering place
Oahu is the most populated Hawaiian island, and also the most frequently visited.   There are numerous tourist attractions here.

  Kauai ... The Garden Isle
Kauai is the oldest island and sports more greenery than the rest.

  Maui ... The Valley Isle
Huge volcanic craters and fantastic beaches.   Maui is less congested but has a lot of nightlife.

  Hawaii ... The Big Island
The Big Island is the largest of the Hawaiian Islands.   It has black, green and white sand beaches.   There is a large and very active volcano here.   Lots of mountain ranges and wide open plains.

  Molokai ... The Friendly Isle
Molokai is sort of a lonely island with not much tourism.   It has lots of unpopulated beaches where you can relax.

  Lanai ... Pineapple Island
Also very small and low on tourism.   If you want to get back to nature this is the place to be.

  Niihau ... Forbidden Island
Inhabitited only by approximately 200 purely Hawaiian families.   Tourism is not allowed and forbidden unless you have a personal invite by one of the Hawaiian families..

  Kahoolawe ... uninhabitited and secret
This island is used primarily by the military and is basically uninhabited.
