The Flight Model can normaly be seen at the Bremen airport (in Germany), in a special exhibition hall. At the World Expo only one half of the double module was on display. Flight Model No.1 flew both German Spacelab missions (STS-61A and STS-55) and also the last flight of Spacelab STS-90, the Neurolab mission in 1998. The other Spacelab, Flight Model No.2, which flew the first Spacelab mission STS-9 in 1983, went to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.
