They Might Be Giants- my personal favorite band, and many other's as well. They combine good lyrics with snazzy music to make a unique sound they once referred to as "quirky with a dark side". Their lyrics are often ironic, but some of their songs are just down-right strange, like "Particle Man". I think some people read too much into the song and that it's just aobut Triangle Man beating other guys up, but you never know. They Might Be Giants is made up of two Johns, Linnel and Flansburgh. Fairly recently, though, they have gotten some new additions to their crew. Their latest album is Severe Tire Damage, which is an excellent mix of songs that are off their former albums and previously unrecorded songs. There is a strange gap between the last listed song and the rest of the tracks, but there are more than 17 songs on there. They are a really great band.
