I wonder why they have grape flavors for things like candy and medicine. It doesn't taste like grape. Have you ever tried to swallow grape cough medicine? That's what inspired me to swallow pills when I was 9. I saw this commercial a while ago, and it shows the kid running from his mom, who has cough medicine in her hand. The kid stops when he sees the cough medicine is grape, and then exclaims "Oh, yum!"
Now first off, what flavor was he expecting? The only other one there is would be cherry, and that tastes exactly the same as grape. The only difference is the color. So unless the kid is a purple fanatic, that shouldn't have been a suprise. Second off, why would the kid stop running? Grape cough medicine gags people. The Mafia uses it when they want to make a slow example of someone. It seeps down into their throat, then starts to dissolve the back away. Slow torture. If I were the kid, the grape medicine would give me a second burst and I would bowl the mom over to get out of there. Of course, that's just me.
