You Let Me Fall

i dreamt of you last night

it was a beautiful dream

we stood face to face

looking into each other's eyes

your eyes looked so deeply into mine

screaming to know me more

you slowly raised your hands to my cheeks

which burned like fire at your touch

caressing my face you pull my face close to yours

our bodies dangerously close

i look down to lose your gaze

but you lift my face back close to your face

so close

nearly touching your face

my heart racing

you pull my lips to yours

you kiss me, making me weak

i felt as if i could fly

and when i tried i started falling

you weren't there to help me

i looked for you to catch my body

but you weren't there

i longed for you to save me

but you didn't

you stood back and watched me stumble

you had left me

and you never returned
