The rain drip drops drip drops
Past the clouds
Down to crops
Over hills and over plains
Over grassy flowered terrains.
The thunder rolls and rolls and claps;
A minute later
Lightning cracks
Lightning cracks
All these three make up a song
of nature's elements; right and wrong.
Drip drop drip drip drop
The rain falls faster, faster still
Falls down fast and floods the hill.
Thunder rolls like ocean waves
from the sea and over caves
covers cities, covers towns
covers people all around.
Lightning strikes in random places
Unforeseen in people's faces.
Makes you jump and gives a start
the flash of lightning stops your heart.
