As well as the Starter pack, fr those of you that are more advanced in skill, there are four preconstructed Decks. The four are Brushfire, Blackout, Overgrowth, and Zap. They all have techniques of winning battles. For instance, Zap is made of Electric and Psychic Pokémon that will paralyze or confuse the other persons Pokemon making it unable to attack. Blackout is a hard and quick hitting deck using basic Pokémon who can do a lot of damage quickly.

Pokemon Cards 101

First of all, you must understand a card's design to master the game. Here is a picture of your basic layout. It's a scan from the Pokemon TCG Rulebook that came with my starter, but I think everybody should have this knowledge.

Here is yet another scan, but an important one for battling. It is the standard table layout for a 60 card battle. This is another must have for Pokemon trainers. There is a mat you can use to play on that comes in the Pokemon TCD Gift Box. It also inclused a Starter Pack, a Jungle Theme Deck, and 2 Jungle Boosters. Best of all, it goes for about $24.99!!!
