~Anyone and everyone who knew Kate Adams, knew she was passionate, caring, and had a smile that could stop traffic. If she could, she would have pulled down the moon and stars and given them to her friends, to make them feel better. She would have done anything for the ones who were blessed enough to be part of her life. I started getting to know Kate in June of 1998. We started talking due to my having pictures of one of her favorite bands, Evan and Jaron. I sent her the negatives for the pictures, and our friendship grew from there. She was just the sweetest girl. I didn't know anyone who could sit and listen to me talk for hours, and be so open hearted about it, and understanding. She widened my musical horizons so much. Ever heard of Tal Bachman, Jude, Evan and Jaron, Another Man Down, My Friend Steve? Surely you have...The first 4, I never heard of much until I became friends with Kate, and she turned me onto all of them. I remember the first time I saw her pictures with Evan and Jaron, Kate was all sunburnt, but smiling like crazy. She did so many things for me, that I could never even begin to thank her for..The autographed Another Man Down cd's, the letter she gave Steve from me, the audio mb20 interveiw tape she sent me so that I could hear Brian SPEAK for a change. Seems like silly things to most people, but meant the world to me, and Kate knew it did. Mainly, she was just there for me, and that made her stand out, and made her special. Over the past year, she was a wonderful friend to me, i couldn't have asked for a better one. We shared all of our concert expiriences...The last conversation we had, was about a My Friend Steve show I had gone to on July 10th, she said listeneing to me talk about it, gave her chills. I'll never forget that. And I'll never forgive myself for the fact I didn't get to tell her that I loved her. There's so much more I could go on and on about Kate, but the main thing is, she was a wonderful person, and she shed light on the darkest situations. She was one of my dearest friends, and my heart will always long for her, and miss her very much. My wishes are with her family, and with Danny.
