You: But Princess Toadstool, how did you come to know about all these little facts?
Me: Darling, I'm Princess Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom. There isn't but a few things that I don't know. But soon... very soon, I'll know everything. EVERYTHING! Oops. Anyways...
Mario's Pad
Mario's Pad is that cute little Pipehouse where Mario lives. He's got a bright green bed, blue curtains, and a cute Fungi Light. Outside his house, there's a Save Point for all you travelers who want to save your game. Also, just recently, Mario has grown a little garden. Aww!
Mushroom Way
This is the road that takes you from Mario's Pad to Mushroom Kingdom. Unfortunately, it is infested with monsters, and the particularly nasty Hammer Brothers. Defeating them is a snap, however. They can be nice as long as you don't irritate their hammers. Also, there's a little shop in here called the Musroom Way Wilderness Shop. It is owned and run full time by Goomba, Sky Troopa, K-9, Spikey, and there are 3 part-time employees, Mallow, Toad, and Sara. NOTE TO GAMERS: NO, IT'S NOT IN THE GAME. THERE IS NO WILDERNESS SHOP IN THE GAME! SO STOP ASKING!!!
Mushroom Kingdom
This is my city! Yay! It's the city of the Mushroom Kingdom Area. There are little Mushroom People living in it. There's an Item Shop and an Inn here, as well as my home, the Mushroom Palace. People of interest here are: Me, the Chancellor, Toad, that cute mushroom guard, and his girlfriend, Sara! It's really an interesting place. The only thing I object to is our anthem. It smells.
Bandit's Way
This is the home of many thieves and bandits. It is also home to Croco, gangsta-wannabe! It is similar to Mushroom Way, but it's bigger and has more hills to hide behind. There are also more monsters.
Kero Sewers
Stinky sewers in the Pond to pipes area of the Mushroom World. This place was once home to the world-famous Belome, but he moved to Land's End. The sewer is home to things like Rat Funks and Gobys.
Midas River
The Midas River is this groovy little area just south of Kero Sewers, and north of Tadpole Pond. You go there to collect coins, to swim in waterfalls, and, uh... to run on barrels... across the water... but heck, it really is groovy! The only bad part is that there are a lot of people who drowned here. That scares off a lot of people. But not me, Super Princess! HAHAHA... um, sorry.
Tadpole Pond
Tadpole Pond is the home of Frogfucious, this frog-sage guy who "knows everything." It's also uh, home to... tadpoles! There's a part of it called Melody Bay where the world-famous Toadofsky, the music composer, lives.
Rose Way
Rose Way is a groovy little area which comes right before Rose Town. I guess it's kinda like the path leading from Tadpole Pond to Rose Town. Anyways, it's got a lot of monsters in it, which is swingin' becos you can get gold and experience there.
Rose Town
Rose Town is a cute little village by the forest maze. As of late, Bowyer has been flinging arrows at the residents which freezes their bodies and makes them stand still as statues. Doesn't that suck!? Anyways, it's also the home to Gaz, the cute little boy whom I ADORE, who is like Geno's best pal. Groovy huh!
Forest Maze
The Forest maze is, uh, a forest maze. But anyways, it's got a lot of secrets and twisting pathways. It's also the home to the Wigglers. And not to mention Bowyer, that crazy arrow-flinging maniac that we all love.
Pipe Vault
The Pipe Vault is an underground maze of pipes, lava, and caves. Lots of evil creatures lurk in these depths. However, you can meet a friendly mole man in the middle of it who owns a Goomba-thumping minigame.
Yo'Ster Isle
The Yo'ster Isle is one of the grooviest places in the entire Mushroom World! Yoshi, Boshi, and the other dinosaur pals live here. It's like a tropical island, with racing lanes, and little huts with Yoshi-berries on them. Groovy, no? :)
Moleville
What it's called is what it is: a town in which moles live. Most of the men are miners, and most of the women are housewives. And guess what? I've been around the town and all the kids except Mite are girls. >:) They live their lives the simple way. There are also mines, so of course that's where the miner-men work.
Booster Pass
There's not really much you need to know about Booster Pass, except that it's a rugged area of hills leading to Booster Pass. In the game, it's only two screens long, so it's very VERY easy. However, once you get to Booster Tower and flick a switch, a cave in Booster Pass opens up!!!
Booster Tower
This is the ten-trillion (yes I exaggerated) story high tower that the paranoid whacko Booster and his Snifits live. Each room is different, filled with different toys and obstacles and just plain weird things that Booster likes to put in. It seems neat for tourists, but once you GET CAPTURED AND HOLED UP INSIDE IT FOR A WHILE, you'll get sick of it.
Booster Hill
This is a steep hill in which beetles live. So you run madly up it to err, try and catch beetles. What's the point, you ask? Well, if you've saved Seaside Town already, you'll know. Anyhow, it's a pretty groovy place, but watch out for the falling barrels that an insane maniac is chucking down at you... and for those Snifits who are CHASING YOU.
Marrymore
I really wouldn't consider this a town. It's more of a chapel and an item shop/inn located in a clearing at the top of Booster Hill. Hmm. Well you can get married in the chapel. There is also a basement to the chapel where Chef Torte and his apprentice make the cakes. It's fun to jump on them!! The item shop/inn is very classy! The suite costs about a zillion coins a night. Star Hill
Wishes are turned into stars here. Once the wish is granted, it will fall. The hill is made of purple cloud-like things. You can talk to the stars here and learn what all the wishes are, however, you cannot learn who they're from. (It's pretty easy to figure them all out anyways.) Each gate is shaped like a star. Just activate the flowers to open the gates.
Seaside Town
Seaside Town is, well, the town by the sea. It's a very nice place, as there are lots of different shops you can visit here. Instead of there being one general item shop, there's a specialty shop for everything (weapons, items, armor, accessories.) There's also a shop here called Beetles Are Us, where you can rent a beetle box and catch beetles on Booster Hill, and then take the box back to Beetles Are Us and exchange the beetles for coins. There's also a shop called Mushroom Boy's. What you do is collect mushrooms from the Forest Maze and bring them to Mushroom Boy. He'll eat the mushroom, and he'll give you different prizes based on what kind of mushroom it is. There's also an inn here, plus a house where the ELDER lives.
The Sea
Not much is known about the sea. It's a dark and gloomy place where rats, jellyfish, starfish, and other creatures live. There are even ghosts here. It's a world of mucky caves and water. A Shaman (I love those dudes) lives here and will sell you some really useful items, too. Yeahhhh! You can also enter the Sunken Ship from the sea.
That's all for now. I'll have more up later!
