What is Peace?
Peace has always existed in the soul of humanity. However, in modern days, as I remember it, 1968 brought a planetary awareness that surged from various parts of the "civilized" world, different layers of our society, bringing to light what most human beings felt in the silent of their heart.
Today, peace is non longer treated as a real need, but as an equilibrium of two or more harmed nations, having an equal potential of mass destruction. It is now a matter of balance of forces, not a matter of the heart.
So what I am trying to say is not really new, but in the pages I have written for your enjoyement, there is many little ways to come to this place called peace. At least I have pointed at different angles to approach that state of being. Of course one could pursue his/her own re-volution...but probably ending up to the same starting point. What's more, in the process, the loss of precious lives, will not promote the concept of world peace...on the contrary. As it stands today, so many "groups" of people have been created to defend what they believe belongs to them. And wave after wave, bringing our civilization to a fearful expextation of the ultimate "Tsunami" effect. |
Again as individuals and therefore as a collective consciousness, we must restore our soulful qualities. We have allowed the realm of the mind to loose us in the labyrinth of desires, and sweep away the very feeling that could make us worthy queens and kings of this wonderful planet. But we have prefered greed to worthiness, and became ruthless rulers watching our dying kingdom of heaven on earth, as if nothing had never happend before to warn us from danger. |
Yet on a more lightful note, there is all these legions of conscious people, helping each other to make the transition as smooth as possible for humanity to move from an aspect of control, to the aspect of unconditional love. We are bulding a new paradigm for our existence, but life itself doesn't need this new paradigm, for it has always prevailed in truth of itself.
The question is, can we all be inspired by this nature at the same time? And merge into one selfless dream, one conscious act of love, producing the same effort towards the same goal, in the making of world at peace with it's differences... |
