Rose's Birthday

Rose's birthday was September 17th. She is twelve years old.

Happiest Birthday wishes to my lovely, sensitive, tenderhearted, artistic, graceful, intelligent niece Rose, who is turning 12 today! I love you so much, sweet girl, and I’m so proud of you!!

For her party, Rose planned a "Music" theme. She chose the decorations and planned classical background music to be playing during the party. Her friend Memphis (who was born on the same day at the same hospital), who plays clarinet while Rose plays flute in the school band, helped set up the decorations.

The food she planned for the party was DIY subs for everybody, and she requested dirt cake for dessert. Afterwards, Becky found some old 45 records and they all had hilarious fun dancing to Shirley Ellis' "Nitty Gritty."
