We have been learning about the Apostles at Bible Club. Reading in the book of Acts, we have had stories about Stephen, Phillip and Saul. When we read about Phillip meeting the Ethiopian man who was reading from a scroll, while riding in a chariot, we made our own version of a scroll with a verse from Isaiah like the man was reading in the story.
When we read the story about how Saul escaped from the city of Damascus in a basket we were going to make little baskets, but Grandma couldn’t come up with a simple basket for the girls to make. So we didn’t have a craft that week. Later she thought of an easy way to do it, but – too late.
