Halloween Parade

Pleasant Hill Elementary School’s annual Halloween costume parade down Main Street is a fun Fall tradition!!

Here they come!!
Principal Tracie Buckner (in the black wig) and
the ladies in the front office started things off!
The pre-K and kindergarten classes get to ride on the flatbed trailers!

Uh-oh, I think I might be in trouble
“Miss Nelson is Missing,” and the strict
substitute teacher, Viola Swamp, wants
to have a word with me
Whew! What a relief. It’s not really Viola Swamp,
it’s my dear friend, fourth-grade teacher Kim Nelson!!

Such a wonderful and fun assortment of characters and costumes!
After touring through the nursing home to get some candy and wish the residents a happy Halloween, the students are headed back to the school. Hello to this cute Hello Kitty!!

Hi, Mrs. Janow!!
My niece Lily (in the bright yellow headband)
was a Pokémon trainer this year.

Eek! Look out for the flying monkey!! Oh,
it’s just Mrs. Campbell’s cute little dog.
“Werewolf!!” “There, wolf. There, castle.” “Why are you
talking like that?” “I don’t know - I thought you wanted to.”
My niece Rose (in the tan shirt with black suspenders)
was dressed as a different Pokémon trainer.

Enough with the preliminaries already -
let’s get out there and haul in some candy!!
“Trick-or-Treat!” Happy Halloween!!
