At our Team Meeting this morning I was given my 25 year teaching in Volusia County Schools pin. Ironically I wore my staff T-Shirt from 1998 (Meeting the Millennium) which. Yes. Is 25 years old. You can see on the back the count down 1998 … 1999 … 2000 !!! DMS will meet the Millennium !!!
I truly have the BEST job not only at DeLand Middle… but in ALL of Volusia County Schools.
Actually more than 25 years … FRS (Florida Retirement System) year 30 which is what truly counts.
