Bus Driver

I believe I am doing a good job assisting transportation covering bus routes. I didn’t get one, but TWO stickers this afternoon from students on my Woodward Elementary run.

I got my CDL with school bus endorsement so I could take all my students off campus for Community Based Instruction (CBI). I have a student who is unable to ambulate and requires a wheelchair accessible bus for transportation. So. I drive a school bus every Tuesday for CBI. And … since I can drive a bus, Transportation reached out to me to help them this past week. They were in a significant driver shortage. So, with Administration approval, I’ve been covering bus routes. However. No. I am not a school bus driver. I’m teaching full time and LOVE my job.

Another awesome week with these amazing students. Always ready to learn and rise to the challenge of being successful.
