Banana Pudding Festival

Banana Pudding Festival

There’s no tradition like a new tradition - that’s what I always say! Our first visit to the annual Banana Pudding Festival in Cookeville was a super yummy and fun time (in spite of the gusty gale-force wind), and we’ll definitely be coming back next year!!

The lovely Miss Banana Pudding greeted visitors to the “Pudding Path,” where $5 would let you taste samples from all the contenders, and then vote for the coveted title of BEST BANANA PUDDING.
We had to wait 45 minutes to enter the Pudding Path, but it was worth it - to taste so many yummy varieties of banana pudding!

Being a banana must be hard work
There was also a petting zoo …
Boyd made friends with
a handsome tortoise

We loved this clever idea for a lemonade stand!

You might say it was a tad windy!
Tons of food vendors, crafts, activities for kids, live music,
even a helicopter and a mini train to ride!

Lily loved her snow cone!
Next they wanted to try axe-throwing!
Roasted street corn is delish!

I had to take the picture quick,
before the wind whipped my plate
out of my hands like a frisbee!!
Hold on tight to those sliders, girls!
