Tom's Birthday

So glad Laurie was able to get this 55th birthday picture

Thank you to all my family and friends for the birthday wishes. I had a very blessed 55th birthday with my Mom and sisters. Only way it could have been better is if my beautiful wife Heather could have been here with us.

After lunch again at Linda’s, we went to Sunrise Dairy for ice cream. When we got back we got ready for everyone to come for supper. Grandma fixed Almond Chicken (at my request) and mashed potatoes. Laurie brought mixed veggies to go with it. They also brought birthday cake and I actually let them sing happy birthday to me, and let Laurie take my picture. Grandma was so happy to have us all here together: Ellie, Laurie, Tom, Drew, Becky, Dwight, Jasmine, Rose and Lily. The little girls played video games with Drew while Ellie, Laurie, Tom and Becky sat in the dining room for a game of Farkle after supper.

Before going home to Florida I took Grandma to the bank and then to Troyer’s for lunch. I took Drew to Game Exchange and he got another Nerf gun, then to Dominick’s for ice cream. In the afternoon I “forced” Grandma to watch the last couple episodes of “Ahsoka.”

Laurie made spaghetti for all of us for supper. After supper we adults played Rummikub and Farkle while the kids played video games with Drew.

The next day we went to lunch at Linda’s again. We stopped at DG so Drew could get another sword to replace the one that got broken when he was sword fighting with Lily. Drew informed us about gun laws; he said Nerf guns are outlawed in Australia. We had smorgasbord of leftovers for supper. Then we played games after supper again (Rummikub, Phase 10 and Farkle).
