The searing desert sand burned his feet even through his half-inch thick boots as Sailor Nomad jumped off of his sandboard, followed by his guardian the tiger called Raghah. as he reached the edge of the Aeonis Canyon and looked out at the slave ship Dark Horizon. Looking out at its two-mile long cylinder shaped hull, and countless gun torrents. It had almost been a six months since he watched in terror has his father, Borgi Natas, was slain by the man known only Catalyst, and his sister, Naga Natas was taken away with Catalyst to the Dark Horizon. Now he rests on the brink of destiny, and the sharper edge of death.

"We have our orders men.. Attack, bring him to the ship, then leave him to Catalyst..."Tor Ternix says as he loads an assault rifle.. "You shoot only to provoke.. If you shoot and kill you’ll answer to me!" Ternix shouts as he cocks his rifle... "Move out!!!" Ternix orders as a dozen armored men leap onto singular hover platforms and head towards Sailor Nomad..

"Guess this is where everything I’ve fought for will finally come to an end..." Nomad says to himself as he leaps onto his sandboard and flies straight into the troops.. "I’ll try to be fair to you guys!!" Nomad shouts as he knocks down two of the troops with one sandblast.. "I wont fire on you for a whole minute, but after that your all toast!!" Nomad shouts as he flies past the remaining troops and heads straight for the ship..

"This is easier then we thought!!" One of the troops shouts to his comrades as he turns around sharply and follows after Sailor Nomad guns firing.. "Aim for his sandboard!! We need to strand him on the ship!!"

"Come on guys only a few seconds left!!" Nomad shouts as he skims the surface of the two mile long ship, barely missing the cylinder shaped hull.. "Hey!!" Nomad shouts angrily as one of the troops hits a few inches away from his sandboard causing him to change course just a little..

"We have all the time in the world!!" Ternix shouts as he bursts through a hatch in the hull of the ship and fires at Sailor Nomad’s sandboard hitting the extreme back shattering the tail..

"You little shit!!" Nomad shouts as he leaps from his sandboard as it disintegrates.. "Do you know how hard those things are to make!?"

"I can imagine..." Ternix says calmly as he walks over slowly to Sailor Nomad his assault rifle pointing to the sky still smoking from its previous firing.. "I understand your here because of your sister, Naga Natas..."

"Where is she!!" Sailor Nomad shouts angrily pointing his fist at Tor Ternix in a offensive gesture.. "If you’ve hurt her I swear I’ll make your death as agonizingly painful as I can possibly make it..."

"Oh your sister is in good health.. For the time being..." Ternix says menacingly as he quickly grins at Sailor Nomad.. "Now if you will excuse me.." Ternix says as he opens another hatch in the ship’s hull.. "I have to meet with Catalyst and your sister..." Ternix says to Nomad as he leaps into the hatch..

"You have a meeting scheduled in Hell, Ternix and your late !!" Nomad shouts angrily as he leaps into the hatch after Ternix..

"That’s right Dijin.. Follow me, to your death.." Ternix shouts as he runs down the dark inner corridor of the Dark Horizon. "You’ll meet the same fate as others have before you who tried to stop us.."

"You’re wrong Ternix, I’m not like the others, I can stop you!!" Nomad shouts as he lands on the corridor floor and chases after Ternix in the pitch black corridor not sure of where he’s going.. Sailor Nomad quickly looses sight of Ternix and stops in the middle of a large intersection of corridors not sure as to which corridor Ternix took.. "Dammit!" Nomad shouts as he slams his fish into the wall drawing blood.. As he looks up he sees what appears to be a group of soldiers marching in a far off docking bay.. "That’s it..." Nomad says softly to himself as licks the blood from his hand and continues to run down the corridor towards the docking bay..

"Is everything going as planned Ternix?" Catalyst asks as he walks out of the bridge elevator and onto a large elevated platform over the docking bay with Naga. He glances at Ternix then looks down at the docking bay one hundred feet below.

"He’ll be here any minute.." Ternix says as he bows to Catalyst. "He’s just like his mother and father.. Both blind to reason, he’ll run head on into even the most obvious traps.. I've fuel his anger, and now all he wants is vengeance.."

"But do not under estimate him Ternix, he may be young but he is very powerful, and an enemy to be taken seriously.." Catalyst says as he places his hand on Ternix’s shoulder.. "Go to the bridge I will meet with you as soon as I have dealt with our young hero.."

"Yes Sir..." Ternix says quickly as he salutes Catalyst then runs off to take command of the bridge..

"You’re a bad man.." Naga says sternly as she looks up at Catalyst a hint of disgust in her voice.. "My brother will stop you, evil never wins over good.."

"Silly girl, evil spawned your brother, and in the end it shall destroy him.. He’ll know the truth of his blood ties some day then he will see he is nothing more then an abomination.." Catalyst says as he pats Naga on the head...

"Get your hands off her!" Nomad shouts as he fires a sand blast at Catalyst barely missing him... "I swear to God if you lay another finger on her I’ll blow it off.. Along with the rest of your arm..."

"Such big words for a boy who thinks he can stop me, and an army of my men... With no help I might add.." Catalyst says sarcastically as he walks towards Sailor Nomad followed by Naga... "No cavalry for Sailor Nomad? No fellow heroes to help win the battle to stop evil? No hope Dijin? No justice? When will it end?"

"It’s going to end when your sprawled on the ground not breathing, and without a pulse..." Sailor Omega shouts as he jumps out of a time portal followed by Sailor Alpha, and Geo...

"Guards!" Catalyst shouts then a group of nearly fifty armored guards rush the three heroes..

"Oh please Catalyst, I was hoping for a real fight, not target practice..." Geo shouts as he lifts up a giant steel tank and hurls it at the guards knocking all of them over the railing of the platform and down to the docking bay below. Seconds before the tank explodes rupturing the ship’s steel hull...

"You fool!! We’re only a few decks above the engine rooms!" Catalyst shouts as he pulls out his gun and fires an energy blast at Geo hitting him in the arm. "You’ll kill us all!" Catalyst shouts as he watches the fires start to spread across the docking bay...

"Alpha, Omega, Geo! Get out of here now, I’ll take care of Catalyst.." Nomad shouts as he runs up to Catalyst and punches him in the face.. "That’s for my parents!"

"So Dijin you plan to be the lone hero? Stop the villain, save your sister, and escape before the whole ship explodes over the Cydonian desert? My you have such big dreams for such a young man.." Catalyst says defiantly as he grips Naga’s hand..

"There’s nothing wrong with dreaming big Catalyst.." Sailor Nomad says as he backs away from Catalyst. "This platform is already to unstable to support a fight, it’s going to collapse and you know it..."

As Catalyst walks towards Sailor Nomad the platform quickly snaps in the middle screeching as its metal is torn in various spots then it falls to the docking bay below leaving a gapping hole in the middle of the platform.. The gap that spreads from both ends is now at least eight feet wide..

"Now what Dijin? Save yourself, your sister, or do it all and stop me?" Catalyst shouts as he looks down at Naga then at Dijin.. "What’s it going to be?" Catalyst shouts as the ship changes positions and begins to tip back as it starts to lose power causing Catalyst to lose his grip on Naga’s hand..

"Give me your hand Naga!!" Nomad shouts as he stretches his arm to his sister who is on the other side of the eight foot wide chasm..

"I can’t reach!!" Naga shouts as explosions erupt outside the ship.. "Dijin!!"

"Stretch Naga!! Please for the love of God stretch!!" Nomad shouts as he strains with all his might to reach his sister, tears swelling up in his arms as his arms starts to feel like it will be ripped from its socket..

"I can’t Dijin, you’re to far away!!" Naga screams as Catalyst grabs her leg.. "Dijin!! Dijin!!!!!!" Naga screams as Catalyst lifts her into the air, as a rumbling noise is heard from below in the engine room..

"Nomad!!" Omega shouts as he appears behind Sailor Nomad and grabs his arm.. "The ship is about to explode, the fire has almost reached the engine rooms!" Omega shouts as jumps into a time portal followed by Nomad..

"I win Dijin!! I am triumphant!!" Catalyst shouts madly as the fire reaches the engine room...

"Noooo!!" Nomad shouts hysterically as he emerges from the time portal just outside the ship Dark Horizon with Sailor Omega.. "Naga!!!!" Nomad shouts as he watches a wall of fire sweep across the hull of the ship then explode in a final cataclysmic explosion.. "Nagaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!"

As the explosion subsides and the shattered hull of the Dark Horizon plummets towards Mars Sailor Omega helps Nomad sit down..

"Naga........" Nomad says to himself as he instinctively transforms back into Dijin Natas.. "Naga......" Dijin says blankly as he watches the ship crash back into the Aeonis Canyon..

"You did everything you could have possibly done..." Omega says as he places his hand on Dijin’s shoulder.. "I need to get back to our hideout and help Alpha tend to Geo’s wound.. You can come back when your ready..." Omega says as he stands up next to Dijin then opens a time portal and jumps in vanishing from sight..

"Everything I did wasn’t enough.. She’s still gone...." Dijin says to himself as he looks up into the sky as the suns starts to set...

"You did what was needed.." Raghah says to Dijin as he walks up behind him calmly.. "This is just the beginning of your grand destiny.."

"I don’t care about my destiny!!" Dijin shouts angrily and turns to Raghah.. "I want my mother, father, and sister back! I don’t want my destiny, I don’t want these powers I just want my family!!!"

"Things work out in the end Dijin.. Most of the time they are not how we expect them, but they still work out in the end... Death doesn’t always mean just that.. It can also mean life in some cases for not everything dies..." Raghah says solemnly as he sits down next to Dijin.. "Catalyst is a resourceful man, and I wouldn’t be surpassed if he’s still alive.. Maybe even with your sister.."

"Even if he did survive that explosion where could he go? He wouldn’t come back to Mars..." Dijin asks as he stands up next to Raghah..

"His intended destination was Earth.. He has many mines there.. That is why he gathers slaves here..." Raghah says as stands up next to Dijin..

"You have much ahead of you Dijin.. You’ll meet many people, do many things, and will leave behind a legacy unlike any other.." Raghah says as he starts to walk forward..

"And who am I going to meet? What will I do? What is my legacy?" Dijin asks Raghah as he follows him..

"You’ll stop evil at every turn.. That is what you will do.. Your legacy will be one of hope.. And you will meet many people..." Raghah says as he begins to climb up a large sand dune..

"I said WHO will I meet, I want names!" Dijin shouts as he runs up the sand dune and reaches the top just before Raghah does..

"You’ll meet a girl named Ami, and her friends..." Raghah says as he looks out over the Cydonian desert..

"Who’s Ami?" Dijin asks Raghah as he looks at the desert and feels a sense of accomplishment..

"You’ll find out someday Dijin, someday.... For that is your destiny......" Raghah says smiling as the sun sets on the Cydonian desert, spreading a velvet curtain over the landscape.. "Someday..."
