Neoverse

Queen Beryl's throne room

"Phoenix step forward!" Beryl orders as she walks into her throne room and sits down on her throne. "Ara step forward!"

"Yes my queen?" Phoenix says as he walks up and bows before Queen Beryl.

"How may we serve you?" Ara asks as she walks up and also bows before Queen Beryl.

"Phoenix, I have changed the main purpose of our going to Earth." Beryl says as Phoenix looks at her slightly shocked. "We will be capturing my son so that he can be my heir."

"What about the merging of the Neoverse and Earth my queen?" Phoenix says trying to mask his happiness with the altering of Beryl's plans.

"We will still merge the Neoverse and Earth." Beryl says as she holds her hand out to Phoenix. "Now go with Horologium, he will be creating the portal over Tokyo shortly." She says as Phoenix bows then walks over by Horologium, then the two walk off into the shadows.

"As for you Ara." Beryl says as she directs her attention to Ara who has been waiting patiently. "You will be going to Earth for what will be the final assault before my arrival."

"Yes, my queen. I will make you proud." Ara says as she bows then begins to turn.

Beryl quickly stands up and shouts "Ara!" Causing Ara to stop in her tracks and turn to Queen beryl. "Do not attack them."

"What would you like me to do to them then my queen?" Ara asks in confusion as she watches Beryl sit back down.

"Find my son, and attack his mind. You have studied the reports I have on him, get in his head." Beryl says as she smiles to herself. "But be sure that the others are there to see it happen. I want his deepest emotions brought to the surface."

"Yes my queen." Ara says as she bows before Beryl one last time then walks off into the shadows.

A few blocks from Rei's Temple

Tokyo, Japan

Early evening

"What are we going to do Dijin?" Rei asks as the two walk down the sidewalk on their way back to Rei's temple. "The last time any of us fought Beryl we nearly lost, and this time we'll have to face her and seven generals."

"We'll I'm here now." Dijin says as he smiles to Rei. "I am her son so I suppose I can inflict more damage on her then most people could."

"Well we beat her before, together as a team without any of your help." Rei says as sharply to Dijin as she cocks her head. "And we can do it again if we want."

"Why are you getting so cocky?" Dijin asks forcefully as he stops and just stares at Rei. "She's my mom!"

"Oh that's something to be proud of, being the son of the evilest woman in existance!" Rei shouts as she narrows her eyes at Dijin. "Why don't you just go stand by her side!"

"Maybe because I'm not evil!" Dijin shouts as he raises his arms in anger then begins to walk away from Rei.

"I never said you were evil!" Rei shouts as she begins to try and catch up with Dijin. "How do you think we all feel knowing that your mother is Queen Beryl? You think it makes us want to trust you!"

"Rei." Dijin says as he finally makes it to the temple. "You don't trust me at all do you? You never have? Have you!?!" He shouts as he turns to Rei.

Rei just stops and looks at Dijin then turns her face away from him. "I hardly even know you Dijin, you've been here in Tokyo for less then a year." She says as she looks back up to Dijin her face showing no emotion. "I don't trust you Dijin, and sometimes I wish you never came to this planet." She says as her eyes begin to tear up then she runs past Dijin and up the temple steps.

"Rei!!" Dijin shouts as he runs a few steps after Rei but stops when he realizes it's to late. "This isn't happening." He says as he sits down on the steps of the temple and rests his head on his hands.

"But it is Dijin." A woman with long auburn hair, and pierceing green eyes says as she sits down next to Dijin. "Your life is crumbling in front of you."

"Who the hell are you?!" Dijin shouts at the woman as he jumps up and stares down at her in disbelief.

"I am Ara, from the Neoverse." The woman says as she stands up and extends her hand to Dijin. "I am one of your mothers loyal generals."

"What do you want?" Dijin says coldly as he ignores Ara's extended hand. "If you're here to attack anyone or anything I can assure you that you will not be here long." He says as he cracks his knuckles.

"I am not here to cause harm to you or anyone else." Ara says as she smiles to Dijin. "I am her to simply talk to you."

"Then talk fast." Dijin says coldly as he leans against a lamp post.

"Your mother is worried about you Dijin." Ara says as she sits back down on the steps and looks up at Dijin. "She thinks that she's hurt you."

Dijin begins to laugh at the mentioning of his mother hurting him. "She shouldn't be worrying herself over something like that, cause she knows she has hurt me." He says as he crosses his arms.

"Your mother cares very deeply for you Dijin." Ara says as she taps the concrete steps with her fingertips. "Your sister seems to be very upset that you don't want to see her."

"Well I can understand her being upset since you've got her trapped in the Neoverse!" Dijin shouts angerly at Ara.

"Your sister is staying in the Neoverse on her own free will. She enjoys staying with your mother and father." Ara says as she attempts to open the conversation more. "You've spent almost your entire life without your family Dijin. Go to the Neoverse and join them."

"I don't want to be with my mother, she's an evil hateful woman, and my father is a deceiving crook who's tried to have me killed!" Dijin shouts as he walks over to Ara so he can stand over her. "I'd rather see them dead!"

"Well Dijin it doesn't matter if you want to go to the Neoverse to be with your family or not." Ara says as she stands up and scowls at Dijin. "You will be with your family very soon whether you want to or not."

"What are you trying to say?" Dijin asks as he walks away from Ara. "Are you saying that Beryl is going to try and take me to the Neoverse?!"

"You will find out in due time Dijin, or should I just call you Prince Dijin?" Ara says as she flashes a cold smiles then raises her arms to the heavens. "You will take your rightful place at the throne of the Neoverse Dijin for." She starts to say then stops and looks at Dijin as her body begins to vanish. "Thy Kingdom Come." She says as she totally vanishes from sight.

Seconds after Ara disappears all the lights around Tokyo suddenly flicker then completely shut off. As the city is bathed in darkness a dark purple cloud begins to swirl above the center of the city.

Neoverse

Queen Beryl’s throne room

"My queen, the portal has been opened and we are now awaiting your orders." Horologium says as he walks up towards Queen Beryl’s throne and bows.

"Good, where is Phoenix?" Beryl asks Horologium as she stands up from her throne.

"I am right here my queen." Phoenix says as he walks out of the shadows followed by Ara. "Ara has just returned from her trip to Earth."

"Your son certainly has a very short temper." Ara says as she crosses her arms. "He could be pushed into joining us very easily."

"That is a very interesting observation, and we can discuss it later." Beryl snaps at Ara then turns her attention back to Phoenix. "Phoenix, take me to the portal entrance. Fornix, Scorpius, Hydrus, and Lyra you will wait until Phoenix and I have established an anchor on Earth." She orders to the four lesser generals then walks off to the portal entrance.

Usagi’s Bedroom

Tokyo, Japan

"Usagi get up!" Luna shouts as she notices that the alarm clock is flashing 12:00 over and over again. "The power has gone out something is wrong!"

"The power’s out? That would explain why I wake up late." Usagi says sleepily

"No, this must have something to do with the Neoverse!" Luna says as she jumps off of Usagi’s bed and then jumps up on the tv so she can look out the window. "The whole city is blacked out!"

"Ya know Luna, not everything has to do with the Neoverse." Usagi says as she rolls over on her stomach. "Just go back to sleep."

"I supose that large purple cloud of energy circling over the center of the city is nothing important too." Luna says as she then jumps onto Usagi’s head. "Get up we have to go tell the others now!" She says as Usagi rolls out of bed and lands on the floor.

"Alright alright we’ll sneak out my window." Usagi says as she grabs Luna by the neck and walks over to her window.

"Usagi are you sure you just don’t want to use the front door?" Luna asks as Usagi places Luna on her neck.

"Come on Luna I’m not as klutzy as I use to be." Usagi says as she opens hr window and slowly begins to sneak out. "Besides all I have to do is get to that ledge and gracefully drop to the grass" She starts to say as she makes the first few steps down the roof. "below!" She shouts as she loses her grip and slips down the rest of the way, falls off the roof and lands in some bushes.

"Graceful is not in your dictionary Usagi!" Luna says as she squirms out from underneath Usagi. "Now let’s get going!" She shouts at Usagi who is just laying there.

"Fine fine." Usagi says as she slowly crawls up to a standing position. "Why do I have the feeling that will be the least amount of pain I’m going to feel today?"

"Come on Usagi!" Luna shouts as she goes running down the sidewalk. "We have to get to Rei’s temple so we can gather the others!"

"For once I wish we could meet in a place that didn’t require so much running." Usagi groans to herself as she runs after Luna.

A skyscraper ½ mile from the center of town

Tokyo, Japan

"Now that isn’t good." Foxx says to himself as he sits down on his hoverboard. "It’s like a big swirling evil cloud thingy!" He says as he sizes the cloud up with his hands. "Beryl may be the evilest woman to ever exist, but she sure knows how to make an entrance." He says as he stands up on his hoverboard and stretches.

Just as soon as Foxx is done stretching a low rumbling noise can be heard from the general location of the energy cloud. The rumbling slowly fades but is quickly replaced by a beam of purple energy that shoots out of the cloud leveling the ground below.

"I think it’s time for a little investigation." Foxx says as he flies off towards ground zero on his hoverboard. As Foxx blindly flies into the darkness he has no idea what evil lurks in the heart of the cloud, but he will soon find out.

The other scouts are all gathering at Rei’s temple in preparation for their greatest battle ever. A battle against a dark enemy from their past, who could very well destroy their futures. There is no where to run, for thy kingdom has come..
