Shogun Assassin's
This game has the combination of pre-rendered backgrounds of Resident Evil and the sword play of Bushido Blade.You have the choice to play two different characters in Feudal Japan,and through a blend of action and adventure you are led into an epic story.You can be Kotaru the cunning young assassin,or the good looking Hyaku.Kotaru is a young warrior who has returned to the his village to pay his respects to his parent's gravesite,and Hyaku is a secret policewoman who is looking for her missing brother.Their quests become more treacherous when they get entagled in the plots of the lord of the castle above,who is planning to overthrow the Shogun useing Demons.The game is entirly played in the same style as Resident Evil,with pr-rendered backgrounds and real- time characters.This time you must use swords instead of guns.There are 30 different sword strikes to master,as well as magical attacks you can learn.The cool thing is that there is a way to dismember and decapitate your opponets with Critical hits.
It's still early on this title,but it looks like Konami has yet another great hit on the way.I would really recomend this game to anyone who has played Tenchu Stelth Assassins and Resident Evil,because if you liked those games,you will for sure like Shogun Assassin's
