December 6: At the AKC Eukanuba National Championship, Moose (handled by Kristina Criscoe) was awarded BEST OF BREED at his second show of the year under Honorable Judge Cindy Meyer. This was essentially his retirement show, so he decided to go out with a BANG!!
November 15 & 17: At the Ocala Florida Dog Show Cluster, 23mo old Marli was awarded back to back BEST OF BREED wins to finish her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP under Honorable Judges Victor Clemente & Dana Cline. As icing on the cake ... Marli's OFA results came back a couple of months later as Hips - Excellent; Elbows & Thyroid normal!!
October 18th: At the ASDCA National Specialty show, Moose (handled by Kristina Criscoe) was awarded BEST OPPOSITE SEX under Honorable Judge Rita Biddle. This brings his record of four National Specialties where he was shown to 2 BOB, 1 BOS & 1 AOM. Not a bad record for a "farm dog" (LOL).
April 13 & 14: At the Perry Georgia Dog Show Cluster, 16mo old Marli (handled by Kristina Criscoe) was awarded back to back WINNERS BITCH for two 3pt majors, under Honorable Judges Jean Fournier & Karen McFarlane.
February 23 & 24: At the Tallahassee Florida Dog Show Cluster, 14mo old Marli (handled by Kristina Criscoe) was awarded back to back BEST OF BREED wins for two more points by Honorable Judges Lawrence Standbridge & Judith Goodin.

December 18th: At the AKC Eukanuba National Championship, Moose (handled by Cathy Pullian) was awarded an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE at his second dog show of the year under Judge Eric Ringle. Not too bad for a semi-retired stud dog.
June 26th: At the Orlando Florida Dog Show Cluster, 7mo old AlaTurkay's Ismarlama (aka "Marli"), a female from the Moose/Zena 2010 litter (born 11/18/10), went to her very first dog show. From an entry of 12 dogs (including 5 Champions), under Honorable Judge Patricia Trotter, Marli was awarded Best Bred By Exhibitor, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and BEST OF BREED for a 5 point major!!! Marli was owner/breeder handled by Linda Curran.
February 15th: At the Westminster Kennel Club show, Moose (handled by Cathy Pullian) was awarded an AWARD OF MERIT. Since this is to be a "very limited showing" year for Moose ... not a bad start.

| 2010
At the end of 2010, in just 7 show clusters, Moose ended the year as AKC's #1 Anatolian All Breeds and #2 Breed, with multiple Group placements. He was AKC's First Grand Champion Anatolian and won his SECOND NATIONAL SPECIALTY over the largest entry so far for an ASDCA National Specialty. What an amazing year for us!!
November 2010:
This year just got even more amazing!! On 11/20/2010, Moose was awarded his second BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW by Honorable Judge Charles Olvis, who went on to award him a WORKING GROUP ONE the same day!! This is a repeat of his win in 2007 and places him firmly in the ASDCA History Book!!
August 2010:
This has been an amazing year so far for Moose ... after being awarded two more BOB wins, making it 16 BOB wins in a row, Moose made the ASDCA history book on Saturday, Aug 28th, by becoming the FIRST AKC GRAND CHAMPION ANATOLIAN!! Thank you Judge Clark!

Nov 7&8, 2009 - At his second show weekend out since 2008, Moose took BACK TO BACK BEST OF BREED WINS at the Brooksville, FL, Dog Shows under Honorable Judges Pam Joy Douglas and Alice Bixler. This makes him 4 out of 4!!
Nov 6, 2009 - At the ASDCA National Specialty held in Napa, CA, Moose's littermate sister, CH ALATURKA'S HAVALI SAVASCI (aka "HALI") was awarded BEST OPPOSITE SEX.
Oct 10&11, 2009 - At his first show weekend out since 2008, Moose took BACK TO BACK BEST OF BREED WINS at the Lake City, FL, Dog Shows under Honorable judges Kenneth Buxton and Alberto Berrios.

Sept 29 thru Dec 16, 2007 - Moose was awarded 14 more BEST OF BREED wins and, as of November 17th, became AKC's #2 Anatolian.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2007 - At the 2007 ASDCA NATIONAL SPECIALTY SHOW, Moose entered the record books today when the Honorable Judge Mrs Chris Walkowicz awarded him BEST OF BREED, then went on to award him a WORKING GROUP ONE!! He was also awarded BEST WORKING DOG in a class for dogs that are active livestock guardians.
June 2-3 - We sent our Champion boy to Charlottesville, VA this weekend with 15 Anatolians entered each day. Again, Moose was awarded back to back BEST OF BREED wins!! This was a very special weekend for Linda and me. This weekend's wins also moved him up to AKC's #3 Anatolian.
May 5-6 - Mustafa's fourth AKC Dog Show Weekend yielded back to back BEST OF BREED wins and FINISHED HIS AKC CHAMPIONSHIP with him tied for AKC's #4 Anatolian!
April 29 - Mustafa's third AKC Dog Show Weekend yielded his third BEST OF BREED for his third major win.

Tilki came to live with me July 1st all the way from Oregon.
Tilki went to six WWKC shows as a Junior Puppy (3-6mo) and was Awarded BEST IN SHOW JR PUPPY four times, JR PUPPY Gp 1 five times and JR PUPPY Gp 2 once. The JR PUPPY Working Group averaged 12-14 puppies.
Sagi was awarded BEST IN SHOW Adult Bitch once and Gp 1 Adult Bitch 4 times at World Wide Kennel Club shows.
At the 1993 ARBA Cherry Blossom Classic (Largest Rare Breed show in the world), Sagi took Back to Back BEST OF BREEDs (Sat PM show & Sun AM show) from regular classes over more than 20 Anatolians, 11 of which were ARBA Champions, and finished her ARBA Championship. Sagi finished the year as ARBA's #1 Anatolian Bitch.
