Kai (aka "Grizzly") was adopted by the Abreu family after his original family had a change in their living situation and could no longer give him the proper care needed for an Anatolian. He was 18mo old when he went to the Abreu's and had been extensively socialized with other dogs, children and people. He was raised with children and we knew he would be a great family dog. The Abreu's were ecstatic to find that he was housebroken, had been to obedience class, and was current on all vaccinations and rabies shots. His original family had taken very good care of him and will miss him terribly, but they knew he needed more room and attention than they could give him when they gave him up. Sometimes you just have to do what is best for the dog, not for yourself. Kai has fit right in with the Abreu's other pets, a female doberman pinscher and a beagle, and is currently showing them why they never want to ever be without an Anatolian in their lives.
