Stop the Hatred

The time is now! At last check the Constitution has not been used for toliet paper. The Bill of Rights still gurentees me the Freedom of Religion, but I still feel trapped like if I don't think what "everyone else does" that they are going to hang me in the town square.

One thing is still true, we have not passed the time of hatred. Everyday adults, children, men and women who practice the Craft and other Earth or Nature based religions are still be peracuted , teased, mocked or just plain pick on by friend, co- workers and even family members. HEY what did we do?

I mean I believe that they are intitled to have there opinions but come on do they think that we have no rights. I understand the first admendment and all of the stuff that goes along with it, but please I do not go around I don't go around pickiting churches, nor do I build platflorms based on trying to get another Religion taken off of the book..

The point her is there is a time for peace and a time to stand up for you beliefs, but in the same toon there is also a conduct in which one must present themselves, just because you don't argree with me doesn't mean you have the right to persucate me.

Okay time to take a history trip, let's go back to the time just after Christ was cruicified, the dominating religion of the day was Judism, and what pretell did the Jew do to the Christians...hum... they persacuted them. They, Stoned, Burned, Tourtured, and above all Killed anyone who folloed the teaching of Christ. They kept going and now look it is an accepted religion, and for a large part Christians and Jews manage to get along.

As I sit and write this I am reminded of the book of Ecclesiastes(yes I have read the Bible). The quote is from Ecc. 3: 1-8
  1. To everything there is a season,
    A time for every purpose under heaven:
  2. A time to be born,
    and a tome to die;
    A time to plant,
    and a time to reap what has been planted;
  3. A time to kill,
    and a time to heal;
    A time to break down,
    and a time to build up;
  4. A time to weep,
    and a time to laugh;
    A time o mourn,
    and a time to dance;
  5. A time to cast away stones,
    and a time to gather stones;
    A time to embrace,
    and a time to let go;
  6. A time to gain,
    and a time to lose;
    A time to keep,
    and a time to through away;
  7. A time to tear,
    and a time to sew;
    Atime to keep silent,
    and a time to speak;
  8. A time to love,
    and a time to hate;
    A time of war,
    and a time of peace

The things that I have put in bold are the things that the season has passed for, it has come time to embrace the season of the good and as the the New Millennium approaches we can try to embrace and to unite.

I, can put aside my diffrences, can you?
