Background: Novalee was the child not wanted by her father Juba Lightheart Halleigh, the most respected warrior of the Kenyan state.
After Novalee's birth, Juba demanded that her mother, Djala leave the infant in the ruins of Carthage. Djala, who truly did not want Novalee to die made a deal with Kupala, an old witchdoctor. The deal was for Kupala to take care of Novalee in her home in the Carthage mountains.
When Djala left Novalee in the place that was intended for her death, Kupala took the child, just as she had promised Djala.
For many years, Novalee was raised under Kupala's tutlege, not aware of the events that had took place when she was just a baby.
Kupala taught Novalee the arts of magic well. Novalee exceeded heavily in the art of lycanthropy *or turning into an animal*.
At 17, Novalee requested Kupala that she may leave her mountainous dwelling to examine the world around. Kupala was doubtful at first, knowing that Novalee may have been at risk of getting killed by Juba if he recognised the daughter he never wanted.
But, after some time, Kupla agreed that Novalee should go out and see the world that had been absent up until now.
After many months of travelling, she found herself in London in the year 1800.
Here, she found that there were other lycanthropes as well as many other intriguing beings. Here, she settled down and attempted to adjust to this new life.
Personality: Novalee is a highly spiritual, artistic young lady with a view to making long-lasting friendships.
Although she is mostly quiet, she knows when to speak her opinion and when to keep her mouth shut.
She doesn't hold a grudge against anyone unless they do something that REALLY angers her *like abusing a child or animal*.
