Chapter Ten

A Few Days Later.....

"I want Nicky! I want Nicky!" Kelly continued the chanting that she had started almost as soon as they had boarded the plane back to New York.

Tabitha picked her sister up and placed her in her lap. "Yeah, I know how you feel. I miss him too."

They had said goodbye to Nick, Brian, Kevin, AJ and Howie three days before. Tabitha had given Nick her phone number and he had promised to call her.

He hadn't so far.

Just then the phone rang. Her phone. Tabitha ran up the stairs, Kelly on her hip, and looked at the caller ID. It was Megan. Tabitha picked up the phone.

"Hey Megs! How's it goin'?"

"Hey, TP! Nothing much is happening here. What about you? How does it feel to be home?"

"It feels good to be back, but I miss the guys. So does Kelly."

"I want Nicky! I want Nicky!" Kelly started again. Megan laughed.

"Yeah I guess so! Hey, did Jess tell you that we might be going down to Florida durring spring break? Isn't that when you are going to be down there?"

"Yeah. When is your spring break? Are you going to be in Orlando?"

"It's in a few weeks and yeah we are going to be in Orlando. Dad is going down there on buisness and asked if I wanted to come along. I said yes and then asked if Jess could come too."

"That's cool. Hey you wanna come over?"

"Yeah, then we can talk about this some more. I guess I'll see you in a few."

"Yeah, see ya! Bye!"

The last thing that Megan heard before hanging up was Kelly: "I want Nicky! I want Nicky! I want Nicky!"

She laughed and gathered her stuff to head over to Tabitha's house, hoping that her friend would help her with her math homework.

Ten minutes later

"Hey Meg!' Tabitha answered the door.

"Hey Tabs! Hey Kelly!" Megan looked past her friend to the little girl. She was consentrating on the TV.

Suddenly the little girls face lit up. "Nicky! Nicky, TV! Bri-bri! Nicky, Bri-bri, TV!" The little girl exclaimed excitedly.

Both Tabitha and Megan walked over th where the little girl was sitting and sure enough there were Nick, Brain and the rest of the guys, on Rosie. Tabitha turned the volume up and sat down. They all watched the interveiw.

"You really miss him, don't you?"Megan asked Tabitha when the show was over.

"Well, yeah. Hey, we can call Jess and have her come over! You guys can spend the night over here since you don't have school tomorrow."

"You have no idea how lucky you are to be out of school!!!" Megan said, refurring to the fact that Tabitha had graduated a year early. "But I a gree that we should call Jess and have her get her butt over here."

Tabitha laughed at her friend and picked up the phone. After Jessica agreed to come over, the three of them went up into Tabitha's room. Megan sat on Tabitha's bed and played with Kelly while Tabitha got on her computer and checked her e-mail.

She was surprised to find an e-mail from an address that she didn't recongnise: NG_Fracky@hotmail.com (not real, don't try it!)

I wonder...... she thought. She opened it up:

Hey, Tabitha!

This is Brian. I am on Nick's e-mail though. Your mom gave me your e-mail address. I just wanted to make sure that it worked.

So, how are you? How is your mom? How about that little angel, Kelly? I know that Nick misses all three of you. Have you seen your friends since you've been back?

Well, I think that that's enough questions for now. Just wanted to check and make sure that every one is doing well.

Well I gotta go. Write back! Talk to you later!

By the time she wrote him a quick response, Jessica had come over and had been let in by Megan and Kelly.

They all ended up in Tabitha's room and were just talking. Well, The three older girls were talking. Kelly was playing with her doll on the floor.

Soon, Tabitha's mom came home, and Kelly went downstairs, but not before hearing what the girls had been talking about.
