Tabitha walked in with Kelly hot on her heels. "Oh good, you’re here!"
"Yeah I’m here. And I hope that you don’t mind, but I brought Munchkin with me."
"Nope no problem at all!"
"Didn’t think so."
"Well, he should be here pretty soon."
"What’s his name again? I forgot and you didn’t really tell me much about him."
"Well, his name is Nick and he is two years older then you are. He is REALLY tall, but that works out because so are you."
"Well, you are just not being very helpful today, Randi!"
"What ever do you mean?" Randi asked, jokingly. Tabitha just rolled her eyes and laughed. Her eyes then fell on Kelly. The little girl was standing by the door, but not so that if it opened she would be hit by it. As if on cue, the door opened.
"Helwo." Kelly said to the person that opened the door. The door wasn't open all the way, so Tabitha couldn't tell who her younger sister was talking to. But judging from the laugh that she got, it had to be a guy.
"Hello to you too." Nick said. ‘Wait a minute,’ he thought, ‘She looks like the little girl that Brian and I were making faces at yesterday’
Kelly began to laugh. ‘Yup, that’s her all right.’
"Kelly, who did you find?" a voice came from farther in the room. Nick opened the door the rest of the way. Tabitha found herself looking at an extremely tall, extremely blond male. He looked very familiar, from where she was sitting. Her thoughts were interrupted by her little sister running over to her.
Nick looked up towards the sound of the voice and saw a girl a few years younger then himself sitting at the conference table. She looked vaguely familiar.
The two looked at each other for a minute and then were both interrupted in there trying to think of where they had seen each other before, by Randi clearing her throat.
"Tabitha Porter may I introduce you to ….." Before Randi could finish her sentence. Tabitha realized where she had seen this guy before. She saw him all the time on TV. It was Nick Carter. The same guy that used to walk her to her mom everyday after Pre-school.
"Nick Carter?" Tabitha finished for her agent. "Oh my god." She said under her breath. It was then that a look of realization came over Nick’s face.
"Wait a second. Tabitha Porter? Hold on a second. I know that name!" Then Nick pieced together who it was. "You were 5…."
"You were 7…….." Tabitha added
"HAPPY CREEK PRE-SCHOOL!!!" They both exclaimed at the same time, then exploded into peels of laughter, leaving a very confused Randi to ponder what had just happened.
"Wait a second! You two know each other?"
"Yeah, we went to pre-school together."
"Ummmm OK. Tabs, why didn’t you tell me that you knew him?"
"Maybe because you didn’t tell me that it was him. All you told was that his name was Nick, he was a few years older then me, and that he was tall. You didn’t tell me he was a Backstreet Boy!"
Nick laughed. "You knew that I was a Backstreet Boy?"
"Yeah, your mom and my mom kept in touch for a little while and when you signed onto Jive. Jane told my mom. My mom told me. But I think that after that they lost touch because of you schedule and all that stuff."
"That’s cool. Well, we should probably get this show on the road. But first, who may I ask is this little angel?"
"That is Kelly. She is my little sister. She is three."
Nick bent down so that he was at Kelly’s level. "Hello, little one. How are you? I’m Nick."
"Hi, Nicky!!!" She through her arms around him and gave him a hug. He laughed and hugged the little girl back. Having done that, he stood back up and made his way over to the other side of the table, so that he was facing Tabitha.
Randi sat down at the head of the table, and while Kelly play with some toys that Tabitha had brought, the three of them discussed the shedule for the day.
