“I can’t believe this is actually happening!” Hope said, beaming.
Angel was beautiful as the flower girl and Aaron was adorable as the ring bearer. Hope, my maid of honor, looked beautiful in her dress. Destiny, BJ and Leslie were my bride’s maid and looked wonderful. I knew that the g uys looked great. Each of them, with the exception of Brian, had come to see me at some point that day. We were all anxious. All we really had to do now was wait till the setting was right.
There was a knock on the door. “Who is it?” Leslie called, as to make sure that Brian wasn’t trying to come in.
“It’s me.”
“Oh, OK. Come on in!” The door opened that there stood five men in black tuxes.
“JOSH!”
“FAITH!” He returned the enthusiasm. He walked into the room and hugged me.
“Hey, man watch the dress. It looks like it took them a week to get it on her and looking like that!”
“Gee thanks. You’ve always had a way with words Justin.” The platinum blond grinned and stepped forward.
“Little Faith is getting married!” He said as he hugged me.
“Little! I’m older then you are!”
“So? I’m still bigger then you are!”
“Will you two stop bickering! This is suppose to be the happiest day of her life. She doesn’t need to fight with you Justin!”
“Lance, calm down! They’re just acting like they always do!” Chris said. I gave the remaining three men a hug and then stepped back, taking in a sight I never thought I would see.
“I never thought I’d live to see the day.” Hope laughed. She knew what I was talking about. She had never met Josh and the others but I had talked about them.
“What’s that suppose to mean?” Joey said, unbuttoning his jacket so he could sit down.
“Nothing. I just never thought I’d live to see the day that all five of you were wearing BLACK tuxes.”
“You know for someone that’s so much younger then all of us, with the exception of one, and he’s bigger then you, you sure are talkative.” Chris said.
“No, Chris, not today. She paid good money for that dress and I don’t think that they are going to be able to get blood stains out of a satin dress.”
Hope looked shocked at Lance’s comment.
“I wouldn’t actully draw blood….” He trailed off when Josh shot him a look.
“Well, I could say the same for you, Faithie.” Josh said, as he sat down next to me.
“What do you mean?”
Josh looked at the others in the room. “I never really thought I’d see the day that I’d be walking you down the aisle and giving you away.”
“Well, there’s no one I would rather have do it.”
“I’m insulted!”
“Chris shut up! Anyway. This is all so strange. But I do know one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“I really hope that you are happy. I also know that if he hurts you in any way, I’m gonna kill him.”
“Brian would never do anything to hurt her.” BJ said.
“I know. But, still, I had to say it.” He gave her a winning smile.
****Brian’s Point of View.****
About an hour later we are were all down on the beach. Well, not on the beach it’s self, but we were close enough. It was Feburary in Oregon, after all.
It had begun.
Angel was in front ,with her basket of flower petals. Aaron was right behind her with the rings. Then came Leslie, BJ, Destiny and finally Hope.
The Wedding March started and everyone stood up. There she was, walking down the aisle, JC guiding her.
She looks stunning. The gown is beautiful on her. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought that is was made for her, and her only. Her hair is up in a French twist and she has tiny white flowers stuck in her hair.
This is it.
This is really happening.
I’m going to be a husband and a Dad.
Here she comes.
God she looks beautiful.
There she is.
****End Brian’s View****
****Faith's Thoughts**** This is really it.
There he is.
He looks really good.
Nick stop making faces.
Where’s Tommy?
There he is, Angie’s got him.
OK here I am.
Josh, let me go.
Josh, let go of my hand.
****End Faith's Thoughts****
“Josh let go of my hand.” I whispered when he didn’t give Brian my hand.
“Huh? Oh yeah, sorry.”
“Thanks.” I smiled at him and then looked at Brian. He smiled at me and took the hand that Josh finally held out to him.
Ten minutes later.
“I would like to present to you, for the first time, Mr and Mrs Brian Littrell.” The priest said.
The Wedding March started again and we walked down the aisle, smiling insanely, the rest of the entourage right behind us.
Next stop: The reception.
Then we’re off to The Bahamas.
Well, Brian and I that is.
