"Well, as soon as I get the feeling back in my.....well, my hand, arm and I can feel my neck again I'll let you know." Nick said, rubbing the back of his neck. Krista hit him lightly in the stomach.
"Shut up!" She turned to BJ and Brian. She saw how pale Brian was. "Bri, sweetie you look like you've seen a ghost."
"I AM NEVER GOING ON THAT AGAIN!" Brian stated, rather loudly.
BJ laughed. "Come on Brian. You know the chances of that little kid being on the ride again are like nothing." She said with a smile.
"What kid?" Nick stopped rubbing his neck and pain attention to the conversation.
"Oh, well this little kid was sitt-" BJ was cut off by Brian's hand on her mouth.
"Nevermind, it's not important. What do we wanna do next?" He took his hand away from BJ's mouth and gave her a meaningful look.
"Well........................" Nick started.
"This could be a long day!" BJ whispered to Krista. Krista laughed and smiled.
"Are we going ladies or are wee just going to stand here and collect dust?" Brian asked, turning to the two girls.
"Bri, you know that Nick couldn't stand still long enough to collect dust. He can't stand still long enough to collect his thoughts or catch his breath." Krista said.
"Good point! Lets go!" The four of them walked off towards the Castle.
But what they didn't notice was someone watching them. Two someone's actually.
"Kirb. I still don't think that this is a good idea." Carly said to her friend.
"Why not? It's not like we are going to hurt her or anything." Kirby replied.
"If you say so."
"Come on, before we loose them." The two girls walked in the direction that Nick, Brian, BJ and Krista had walked only seconds before.
"Did we loose them?" Carly asked.
"Wait, there they are!" Kirby said, pointing to the four standing in front of the HUGE castle.
They watched as, first Brian took a picture of Nick and BJ, then of the three of them g=together. Then Nick took pictures of Brian with each of the girls and the three of them. Then the two guy went over and grabbed BJ while Krista took the pictures.
Then it was her turn. Brian walked over to her and slung his arm over her shoulder. Then Nick walked over and did the same. They pretended to fight over her, the whole Time BJ taking pictures like a mad woman. Then they heard BJ say "Well I think that Nick and Krista should take a picture together." Kirby cringed at this, but stood and watched anyway.
Krista laughed as Nick walked over to her and picked her up. "Nick! Put me down!"
"Krista! You're attracting attention!" Brian said, laughing.
"Oh, and Nick picking me up isn't?" He had her in front of him, his arms under her knees and her back. She had her arms around his neck, but she knew that he wasn't going to drop her.
"Well, at least he's not yelling about it." Krista stuck her tongue out at him. "That was mature."
Nick decided that he wanted to sit down. So he sat on the concrete retaining wall, that was only about four feet off the ground.
Krista sighed and rested her head on Nick's shoulder. "Does he ever shut up?"
Nick looked down at her and laughed. "No not really. Unless you happen to carry a roll of duck tape around with you."
"Oh darn! I knew I was forgetting something when we left the house!" Nick laughed again and looked up. He saw Kirby and Carly standing there, starring at him and Krista. He smiled a little and then looked at BJ, who, he had just noticed was still taking pictures.
About ten minutes and three rolls of film later they were done. "OK, now I'm hungry!
"Nick you are always hungry!" Krista whined.
"Are we whining, again?!"
"Shut up Nick! It's only 11:00 in the morning! How can you be hungry?!"
"Quite easily actually..."
"We don't want to hear it!" BJ cut in.
"If we go get Ice cream will you shut up?"
"YES!!!!!!!"
"OK, lets go."
"Why did we ever agree to come here with them?" BJ asked Krista as the guys walked ahead of them.
"I don't know....I don't know."
"Tomorrow we are going to the beach. I think I can keep my sanity there."
"That sounds good to me."
MUCH LATER THAT DAY!!
"I am so tired I think I'm going to fall over!" Krista said, walking next to Nick, to the car. He laughed and leaned her head on his shoulder. She closed her eyes and let him guide her to the car. She really was tired.
"Well, that's interesting" BJ said to Brian. They were walking right behind Nick and Krista.
"I heard that!" Krista said.
"Well, it's nice to know who likes to eavesdrop on others conversations."
"Shut up! I'm tired!"
"We know. Here we are!" Nick said as he guided Krista over to his camero. He unlocked the doors and he and Krista waited until Brian and BJ had climbed in the back of the car. Krista collapsed in the passengers seat and Nick laughed as he shut her door.
"KIRBY!! They probably left! I mean it is 11:30 and we haven't see them for about a half an hour. Lets go HOME!"
"OK OK, just stop your whining!" Carly made a face at the back of Kirby's head.
The two girls walked out into the parking lot just as Nick pulled out of it on his way back to his house. They didn't see him though.
"Krista! We're home! Come on!" Nick shook the girl. Brian and BJ were in the house. Krista had fallen asleep on the way back.
She wasn't going to wake up. 'Oh well' he thought.
He walked over to the passengers side of the car and opened the door. He took her seat belt off of her and picked her up.
He closed the car door with his foot and clicked the locks on the car. He walked up the walkway and into the house. Luckily Brian and BJ hadn't shut it all the way.
He threw his keys on the table in the front room and started the trip up the stairs. He was half way up when she began to stir. "What's going on? Nick?"
"Yeah, it's me. You fell asleep and wouldn't wake up, so I decided to carry you in."
"Well, I'm awake, I can walk by myself." He was up the stairs.
"What's the point? I've carried you this far, I might as well take you the rest of the way." She laughed and let him carry her. He opened the door to the room that she and BJ shared and put her down.
"Thanks! Well, good night! See you in the morning." She gave him a quick hug and he left, walking down the hall to his room, being careful not to wake Aaron when he opened the door.
