AJ automatically jumped out of his seat. Nick was close behind him. Brian sat there like someone had super glued his pants to the seat. “Bri! Get up! You won!” Krista hit him in the arm, bringing him out of his trance. He smiled at her and then stood up. A minute later all five of them where up on stage, and Nick had Aaron up on his shoulders.
“Wow.... Kids Choice..... Man.....” Kevin started. “Well, we’d like to thank God, because he has helped us share our love of music with everyone that has gone to our concerts.”
“We’d also like to thank our record companies, Trans-Con and Jive. They have always been suportive of us.” Howie followed.
“Also, all the poeple involved with the tour, our choreographer, Fatima, we love you. Security and all the people that help keep us and our fans safe.” AJ said, grinning from ear to ear.
“Our families and friends. They have been a great help and have taught us a lot. We love you.” Brian said.
“And of course, we gotta save the best for last....” Nick said, a grin on his face and a gleam in his eye. “....This came to us from the fans, and this is dedicated to them! Thank you for youe support and love! And I would also like to thank a very special friend that is here tonight. She has taught me a lot about my self since she has come to live with my family. Thanks Krista.”
They walked off the stage, Nick still carrying Aaron. “Holy...” Krista started. Bj looked at her and laughed.
“Kris, you look like you’ve seen a ghost!”
“Holy...” Was all she could say.
The guys came back to sit with the two girls. “I can’t believe that Aaron presented an award to you! That is so funny!” BJ said as they went to a commerical break.
Nick turned to Krista. “I ment what I said up there. You have taught me a lot about myself. Things that I needed to learn. Thanks.”
Krista smiled at him. “ You guys have taught me a lot about ..... life I guess. I now know what it is like to have parents that are there for you. And siblings. Siblings are a good thing.”
Nick laughed and smiled at her one more time before turning back to the stage. But there wasn’t one person among the other six people sitting with them that didn’t notice that they held hands through out the rest of the show.
They had over come a lot in the past few months. They went from not being able to stand each other to good friends. They trusted each other.
Where would their fate take them next? Would their friendship last? Would they have another run in with Justin? Would they ever become more then friends?
No one knows. Life goes on and.....
Only time will tell.
