Kyla took a cab with Brian and AJ and Nick went with Kevin and Howie. Kyla had no problem with talking with Brian or AJ. Infact, she found them to be alot of fun. Nick wanted to ride with Kyla to the airport but they were all seperated.
"So, those pictures came out nicely. Don't you agree?" AJ said to Kyla.
"Yeah, I guess so! I don't really like to see my picture in magazines. It's almost unreal, ya know? Like it should be someone else and not me." She said while laughing.
"What? Don't say that! I honestly think you deserve to be in YM! Your very beautiful!" Brian said rather forwardly.
Kyla blushed and then smiled. "Thanks! That's really nice. I wish their were guys like you two back when I was younger. I never felt beautiful."
"Didn't you have Nicky back then?" AJ said while nudging her in the side.
"Ha! Yeah, Nicky! No, we didn't talk much. I don't think I was his type. But, then again, we both were always kind of quiet. Well, he got along with the others. My mom put me in the theater program because I was shy." I said while laughing. "I still am. But, I didn't really fit in."
"Oh, Nicky, not talking? Doesn't sound right to me! Are you sure maybe he wasn't intimidated by you?" AJ said.
"Intimidated for what reasons?"
"Cuz your pretty, funny, nice? Maybe that's why?" Brian said.
"Maybe now I'm that stuff. But, back then, nah! I was a nobody!"

Nick, Howie, and Kevin ended up boarding the plane first. Coincidentally, all of their seats were in first class. And it was pretty empty. So, they all sat together. Nick quickly sat down right after Kyla did. Kyla was smushed in between AJ and Nick. Brian, Howie, and Kevin sat beside Nick.
"So, you still live in Orlando?" Nick asked.
"Yeah! What about you? Are you still in Ruskin?"
"Nah, I'm in Orlando now. My parents moved out to L.A. so I moved to Orlando to be closer to the guys."
"Oh." She said. Nick sensed her uncomfortness around him once more. But he didn't understand why.
"Have you been to NYPD pizza place?" AJ asked.
"Yeah! My friends and I go their all the time. It's our little hang out." She said while smiling.
AJ and Kyla spoke alittle more and Nick turned to Brian with a confused look on his face.
"I've known her since she was little and she is talking to AJ like she is bestfriends with him. I don't get it?" Nick said.
"Nick! Give her some time to get used to you, again. I mean, she told us in the car you two hardly ever spoke. So, I mean, she probably is uncomfortable around you." Brian said in a hushed whisper.
Nick turned back to Kyla and noticed that she was staring down at her ring. He had wondered where she had gotten that from. "That's really pretty. Do you mind if I ask you where you got it?"
"This? I got this from my grandpa. He is in a retirment home in L.A. SummerSands, I think it's called. He gave it to me for my 17'th birthday." She said while turning the ring around.
"Oh, happy belated birthday." He said while smiling.
"Thanks! You too. I read in one of those magazines that you turned 19? Wow! Everyone's getting so old." She said while smiling.
"Nah, not really! But, now that you mention it, I have been getting back pains." Nick said while laughing.
Nick and Kyla spoke for a little while more. And yes, actually talking. Even though their was still some distance in her voice at least they talked to eachother. She yawned and covered her mouth.
"You tired?"
"Yeah. I've been really buisy lately." She said while yawning again.
Nick stood up and grabbed a blanket and a pillow from over the seats. He smiled and drapped the blanket over Kyla. "Here, we still have about 3 hours left. Why don't you take a nap?"
"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea. Thank's alot."
Nick placed the pillow under her head and helped her recline her seat back. He watched her as she slowly closed her eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep. He smiled and then shut his eyes also.
