The Snap Dragons come from USA, Pennsylvania created in '92. After changes in line up, they entered a sutio to record come of the 30 songs they had composed. Then , the entered a studio again to release a 12 tracks demo tape. This time again , the band must faced line up problems. Now it solves & the band still continue to work for th erestoration of The Embassy Theater, a project that needs lot of support. The Snap Dragons has done a lot for this but they still need some help!.
It's incredible to see that there's still bands releasing long demo tape
& it's a good thing. This one is more a tape
album ( 12 tracks), even if the sound remains that it's only a demo.
Anyway, for a demo, it's a quite clear sound & it
really allows to see what the band wanted to do with its music. But it's
still quite hard to define them & to give a
name to their influences. The Snap Dragons is for me a hard rock band,
with an emotionnal touch. It's darker than
classic rock bands. They alternate mid tempos "aggressive" songs with
some gloomy ballads like in 'Just in
Memory' or ' what's the connection'. These songs are really well
composed & i think that The Snap Dragons could
work nthis direction. They find with these songs something that will
probably hurt a lot of listeners. It could
probably become a hit. Musically speaking, the band is in place &
there's no faults on the interpretation. The
singer has got a stranger voice, sometimes harsch, sometimes loud, like
in a gothic way. The band seems to work a
lot to get an original style & they are slowly succeeding in finding
one. I really appreciate the work made by the
rythmn section. They give a lot of dynamism & powerful in the songs. the
bass player brings fine ideas that
enriches songs & gives it a special surroundings. So, this band is
surely growing & it'd be good thing to have an
hear to their demo tape, 'cos they're are creating something new that
could influence other bands.

1 Present the band & its story?Ronald D Henry Jr. The only Son of Mr. &
Mrs Ronald D. Henry Sr. wich he loves very much!
Ronnie grew up in a violent troubled childhood with no other Siblings
which gave him exellent song writing abilitys." It was an exscape,a
release from all the hurt and suffering!"
He can take the pain of the troubles of life and love and deliver them
in his music!I often refer to Ronnie,as a living walking channel of
feelings, that is forced down the throats of his listeners almost
stunning them into induced thought!Ronnies presence is that of a
dragon,
torn between good & evil!He represents the purgatory line between
Heaven&Hell wich rockets his self induced thoughts into a frenzy of
driving guitars and strong powerful vocals!!His Appearence is
dragonlike,Meaning you can see the reptile in his eyes and facial
features.Ronnie is also the pied piper and opposite of Marilyn
Manson,Not to lead the kids astray but to lead them to the right
path.A
child between the age of 5&18, when hearing the Snap Dragons, dances
themselves into a dizzy state of happiness and Joy!
Ronnie's obsession with the Embassy theatre comes from visions told by
the Dragon That Posesses him!He feels that the theatre had a spirit
that
was calling for his help!He also believes that the Snap Dragons are
the
key to set off the change in music that the Magors are looking for!

Change was meant to be.I Jammed with Darl&Jody when i was
thirteen..Somehow
we got separated by common problems and now we are kicken Butt..We have
so
many New Songs that are so much more structured..We are going into the
studio
this week to record a New Single that will take over all the radio
airwaves..The name of the song is" It Hurt" These Guys believe in me and
are
pushing just as hard to become the band that will change the slump in
music
today!
2 What are your influences We usaually listen to everything so I would
say
we are a blend of Gothic with a twist of alternative and Heavy
Metal.When
Jody was younger his influences ranged from Eddie Van Halen to
Testament and
Dream Theatre definitly Jazz and Classical Influence also, When Jody
Flies
he Flies!Darl has many influences ranging from
Queensryche,OZZY,METALLICA,TONIC,LIVE,and alot of others..Brad has
alot of
background in music He currently is a soundman also!He is influence by
alot
of older stuff like,Disco,Ska,Reggae,Metal,classical,alternative and
whole
lot more..as for my influences I take everything as an influence!
3 Can you tell more about your project of Embassy Theater ?
We do fundraiser shows for them and Wrote the song EMBASSY..I love
that
place..We practice in there it has incredible accoustical sound..It
was
halled the Radio City of Pennsylvania!The first live Broadcast Came
from
inside the walls of the theatre..I feel it's presence when I'm in
there..Our
Project goal is to restore it with the power of music..
