Beanie Card Information
The series one cards came out in November 1998. A month after being out, Ty announced that they were offically sold out.
Most people never even heard of these card until the announcement. The set of cards consist of 189. Including color variations there are 296 different cards!
Here is an basic overview of the cards that I have put together:
A pack of cards has 8 cards, a Box has 25 packs of cards, and a case has 6 boxes.
Card Numbers:
Cards numbered 1 through 9 are the Original Nine.
Cards numbered 10 through 24 are the Retired Cards
Cards numbered 25 through 49 are the Birthday / Rookie cards.
Cards numbered 50 through 149 are the Regular Cards.
Here is a little about each type of card:
The original nine cards are a clear plastic. The original nine cards also come with one of four different color variations.
They are:
Red- Easiest to find
Blue- Harder to find
Silver- Hard to find
Gold- Hardest to find
One each style of the original nine cards are signed by Ty Warner. All of the original nine cards are numbered. With color variations there are 81 different cards.
The retired card have a hologram background and are a shiny gloss. In all there are 15 different retired cars, but with color variations there are 60!
Once again the color variations are:
Red- Easiest to find
Blue- Harder to find
Silver- Hard to find
Gold- Hardest to find

The birthday/rookie cards are a shiny gloss. There are also four variations of color foil on these cards

These are just the regular cards that found mostly in a pack of cards. The common card do not have color variations.
