The series two cards came out in March 1999. After less than a month of being out, Ty announced that they were offically sold out.
The set of cards consist of 152.
Here is an basic overview of the cards that I have put together:
A pack of cards has 8 cards, a box has 25 packs of cards, and a case has 6 boxes.
Card Numbers:
Cards numbered 150 through 249 are the Common Cards.
Cards numbered 250 through 273 are the Birthday/Rookie Cards
Cards numbered 274 through 288 are the Retired Cards.
Cards numbered 289 through 300 are the Rare Bear Cards.
Plus odd ball card #125, Scat the Cat. (Common Card)
Here is a little about each type of card:
The Rare Bear cards are a true holographic card. The Rare Bear cards are vertical. The Rare Bear cards come with one of four different color variations.
They are:
Blue- Easiest to find
Green- Harder to find
Silver- Hard to find
Gold- Hardest to find
One each style of the Rare Bear cards are signed by Ty Warner. All of the Rare Bear cards are numbered. With color variations there are 48 different cards.
The retired cards are of a slight hologram background like the series one cards and are also verticle. In all there are 15 different retired cars, but with color variations there are 60.
Once again the color variations are:
blue- Easiest to find
green- Harder to find
Silver- Hard to find
Gold- Hardest to find
Ty Warner signed each variation of these cards.
(60 cards total)
The birthday/rookie cards are of a shiny gloss. They are also veriticle. The variation of color is found in the foil of the Beanie names
The color variations are:
Blue- Easiest to find
Green- Harder to find
Silver- Hard to find
Gold- Hardest to find
(96 total cards)
These are just the regular cards that found mostly in a pack of cards. The common card do not have color variations and are horizontal.
Some of the harder to find common cards are not identified yet. I will later let you know which are.
Ty Warner also signed one of each of these cards. (100 total cards)
