Series III and Canada's series II are reported as sold out by Ty. Ty did say that they will try to fill in as many back orders
as they can. Series III are sold out and they haven't even hit my area!
Over 16.5 Million packs
Smartcollecting makes their estimates of series III cards at over 16.5 million packs! This is a 16% increase
from series II cards. Hopefully this will help with getting series III cards.
Series III Cards hit the market!

Series III cards have been hitting the stores in New Hempshire.
Each pack of cards includes an Artist's Proof. The Retired cards are die-cut and different than any
Ty collectors card seen to date. The packs also have Autograph card inserts that are of the same odds as the
Retired cards, 1 in 72 packs.

BBOC Merchandise (7/27/99)
BBOC merchandise is hitting your local BBOC headquarters. I was just at my local Beanie store and got the card storage bin. The storage bin is made of Ty-lite (plastic), holds up to 376 cards and has multi-colored edges. I bought mine for $10.05. At the time, they din't have anything else. Keep your eyes open!

Series III will not contain any autographed cards by Ty.
This helps by keeping
the market from beign flooded.
BBOC Website News

While the Beanie Babies Official Club website has not been officially
re-launched, new information has been posted and Clubby II now greets you
when you enter the site. According to the News Flash, the official
re-launch of the website is targeted for the end of July. The News Flash
also stated, “You must send in the Registration Card found in your
Platinum Kit to become an Official Platinum Member and receive all the
Platinum Member Benefits."
There is also a new link to Authentic Ty products that includes photos and
details of all new merchandise Cyrk is producing including Series III!
There will be 157 cards in Series III and Beanie Buddies will be included.
There will be eight cards in a pack plus a special card. Photos of the
cards for Spangle, Patti, Neon, Scoop, Tracker and Eucalyptus are shown.
It looks like all of the cards including the commons will have a new look
to them.
Details on the new Collector's Card Guide book states the book will
include, "Thorough explanation of "The Game," card types, and the
information contained on each card." This would suggest that there may be
an official game to play with these cards.
According to the website, the Beanie Baby Display Case will be a
transparent plastic design but will include a selection of colorful
environmental backgrounds to display your Beanies. The cases will be
stackable by an interlocking embossed Ty heart on the top and the bottom
Details of the new Millennium Calendar, Card Protectors, Storage Box and
Membership Kit are also posted to the BBOC website.

- Wild Cards: 1 / 3
- Birthday: 1 / 5
- Beanies and Buddies: 1 / 12
- Classic Commons: 1 / 24
- Retired: 1 / 72
- Common Cards: 1 new common card in each pack.
(The new beanies that were not produced in previous common cards)
- Beanie Sticker cards: 1 in each pack
Series III cards are expected to be shipped in August!
