Q: Did you know if the common Canadian Beanie Cards are embossed / raised where the beanie baby picture is? From what we saw people say it isn't.

A: The Canadian Beanie Cards are supposed to be exactly the same as the U.S's series II, except for red maple leaf in cornor. I am assuming that the picture should then be embossed like the U.S's series II.

Q: I've been hearing a lot of thing about the beanie CLAUDE with it's name all spelt out in caps. People have been telling me how much they think it is worth, but what they have been telling me seems a little high! So, could you please tell me how much you think it is worth?

A: When Cluade was first released, along with other friends, some of the Cluades had their names spelt out all in caps. Claude is the most notorious of all of them. I got Claude when he first came out, so mine is also all spelt out in caps. Some secondary delears add on about $15 in price for these Claudes. But, he is worth what someone else is willing to pay for him.

Q: I have a large romeo the bear. He is like a beanie buddy but came out before their were beanie buddies. He is white holding a heart and says "love mom" in a blue ribbon. There is a TY tag and a bottom tag. I can't find any info on it anywhere. Anything you could offer would be appriciated and its value.

A: Romeo the bear is a Ty Plush. Their are three different Romeos available:

You have the Mother's day version of Romeo. Romeo is current so he only worth the price you paid for him.

Q: The other day I got a Ty Dog. He is the size of a Beanie Buddy. His name is Sherlock. I went on the TY page to see him and he was not there. I also looked on your page and once again he was not there. Could you tell me if he is a real one thanks! Or is he retirered of something?

A: Sherlock is a Ty plush. He is current, so he only worth what you paid for him.

Q: My mom got Quackers, teenie beanie, this past time from McDonald's and the tush tag is blacked out. Is this worth any more or is it worth less this way? We want to know if we need to get one that a friend has for sale to replace it or not, that is why I am asking.

A: During the production of millions of Teenie Beanies, their is bound to be some mistakes. Your Teenie Beanies is a production error. This error certainly doesn't lower the value, but may not raise its value either. As the saying goes, "It's only worth what someone else is willing to pay you". Just hold on to him and give him all the love you would give your other Teenie Beanies.

Q: I was wondering some people I am trading with said that the U.S buddies only have 1 tush tag. Is that true?

A: Canadian Beanie Buddies and Beanies have an extra tush tag on them. (often refered to as the Canadian tush tag) The extra tag is a part of the stuffed toy regulations in Canada. It doesn't increase the price of the Beanie Baby or Buddie. The most people ask for extra sometimes is $5. I don't think that European Beanies have any extra tush tags on them.

Q: My beanie book said struts poem is "What's the rooster saying to you" without a question mark. Mine has a question mark. Is this a misprint or is my beanie a counterfit?

A: I think that it is a misprint in the book. My strut also has an question mark. Since that sentence in the poem is a question, it needs a question mark

Q: I recently got a Stripes The Tiger Beanie Baby and It has the Canadian tush tag along with the original tush tag. I was wondering if the Canadian Stripes will be worth more or less than the orignal Stripes.

A: When the craze of Beanie collecting first went off, the Canadian tush tags were valued slightly higher ($5). Now they are just worth the same amount as the Beanies without the extra tush tag.

Q: Does it matter if the tush tag is wrinkled or creased, and does it decrease the value?

A: I seriously don't think so. Not many including myself, would care if the tush tag was wrinkled a little. Most of the tush tags come naturally wrinkled when you get the Beanie. But it's a problem if the tush tag it self is entirely removed. If you are that concerned with wrinkled or creased tush tags, there are company's that sell tush tag protectors.

Q: I have Clubby, only that he has no bar code on the back of his hang tag and an "01" on his tush tag. Is that normal, or is mine a counterfeit?

A: Your's is not a counterfit to my knowledge. Your Clubby should NOT have a bar code on the back of his hang tag. There is no reason for a bar code on the tag since clubby was sold directly form Ty. I am sure the "O1" is normal, my Clubby has an "O2". I personally don't know what this stands for or for what purpose it's there but I am sure that it is nothing to worry about.

Q: Is Early the Robins birthday: March 20th or February 20th, because on my early it says one thing and at the Ty website it says another?

A: Thanks for bringing this up! I just looked at my Early's tag and it says: March 20th. Then I went to Ty's website and it says: February 20th. I am assuming that either Ty messed up when Early was first produced or there are two versions of tags with Early's birthday. If anyone has any more info or thoughts, e-mail me!

Q: I heard that McDonalds was getting an all bear shipment in (tbb) is that true?

A: I personally have never heard of this. Basically this is just a rumor untill you hear it straight from McDonalds or Ty.

Q: Is there anywhere I can get Billionaire? Can I get him without paying Mondo Bucks?

A: Billionaire was Only given out to Ty employess. Billionaire was in no way available to the general public except through the second hand market. Therefore for this reason you would only get Billionaire by paying through the nose. Sorry :-(

Q: Who is the rarest Beanie?

A: It is hard to say exactly who is the rarest of all the Beanies. But there are a few Beanie that definetly stand out from the others. They are: Royal blue Peanut, spotless Spot, Cubbie named as Brownie, and Bongo named as Nana. Besides these few Beanies there are a lot of other rare Beanies, most of them include the variations and oddities.

Q: Is Iggy the blue lizard or the multi-colored one?

A: No, Iggy is actually the blue lizard. Rainbow is the multi-colored Chameleon. For the time beign these two Beanies are beign made with their tags switched. ex: Rainbow with Iggy's tag and Igyy with Rainbow's tag

Q: Did you know that there are two Rainbow's? Why is there two Rainbows?

A: Yes, The original Rainbow did not have a tongue. Rainbow also had his hang tag originaly attached to his leg. Currently Rainbow is beign made with a tongue and his hang tag is begin attached to his spine.

Q: I was just wondering if the new Rainbow with the tongue is going to be worth more than the old one without the tongue.

A: I would think that the Rainbow with out the tongue would be worth more since it is not made any more.

Q: How do you tell the diffrence between the old princess and the new princess I know the old one has P.V.C. pellets and the new one P.V pellets so how do you tell the diffrence.

A: Well number one, the second addition is made of P.E pellets. You can tell which edditon your Princess is by looking at the tush tag. This information is located after where it says: All new material Polyester fiber & _____. That blank is where they tell you what kind of pellets your Princess is made of.

Q: I have heard a rummor that the Wise Potatochips is sueing Ty becaues the "Wise the Owl" and that Ty has stopped production of Wise is this in fact ture or just a rummor?

A: Anything that has not been publically said by Ty is probably just a rumor and nothing more.
