Drive south 16 miles on A1A from Ocean Ave. to South Melbourne Beach. You will pass Bonsteel Park. Look for a store on the right, Long Point Bait and Tackle, and a brown sign that reads "Long Point Park Campground". Make a right up the street between the sign and the store. If coming from South A1A, once over the Sebastian Inlet bridge, Longpoint is 2 miles North on the left. Parking is free. Just walk across A1A, through the long tiny plant lined dune trail, and follow to the beach. Hazards: fishermen, sharks, mosquitos, and no-see-ums.
