~Rehersals start on the 6th for the Tour.

Sept 2:
~The Backstreet Boys' self-titled debut album has been certified 11X platinum as of August 27th, 1999. Billboard Charts Christina Aguilera moved more than 252,000 copies of her album to land atop the Billboard charts. Puff Daddy checked in at no. 2 with just over 205,000 albums sold while Millennium slips to No.3 selling more than 200,000 in its 15th week in release.

Aug 31:
~According to the group's management, Backstreet Boys sold 765,000 tickets on Saturday, and in the process sold out all 53 dates of the group's Into the Millennium Tour, which runs from Sept. 14 through Dec. 12.
~BSB sell out 53 shows in one day. $30 millenion dollars worth of tickets.

Aug 29:
Backstreet is only doing a concert in 3 of the Canadian cities - Toronto, Ottowa & Montreal. This is because more dATES have been added to the US tour.

Aug 2:
~For the MTV vid awards, the Boys are to perform.......however, i'm not too sure what song that would be.
~SEARS will be holding an OFFICIAL BSB merchandise sale in their store. They will also give away free posters each week with your purchase ~I Want it That Way will be taken off of TRL on august 3rd. Keep voting to make it stay number 1 before its retirement.

July 29:
~The Boys' christmas album is set to be released in October.
~The Boys are filming a show in Barcelona. We'll have to wait & see if it will soon be shelved & sold.
~AJ broke up with Amanda & is now going out with one of the dancers.......now that is just sad......he already has another girlfriend.
~Steven Tyler from Aerosmith talked about songwriting with BSB (according to Tommy Smith)
~Larger Than life video is to be shot at the end of august.
~The BSB have been nominated in 4 categories for the '99 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA). There are 20 award categories. The awards will be held on September 9'th and will be hosted by Chris Rock. The categories where the Boys have been nominated are are:

July 13 ,'99:
~Nick makes his solo album. It will appear in the autumn, and demo tape will be ready in September at the end of BSB' europian tour. Nick said:"I'd like to write love songs and do soft rock like Bryan Adams".
~According to billboard.com, IWITW is #1 on the Hot 100 airplay chart. This means it's the most played song on the radio in America.
~Kevin is sick with the flu.

June 29, '99:
~Nicky got 2 tattoos. He has one of a shark on his left upper arm & one of a music note on his back.
~AJ broke up with Amanda in which he stated on HITList.
~AJ shaved off his goatee on Tuesday the 22 because he thought it was time for a change.
~The Backstreet Boys CD, Millennium was certified 5x platinum (sales of 5 million copies worldwide) by the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA).
~Mariah called the Backstreet Boys to ask them if they would like to record a duet with her.
~Brian is NOT sick & is not leaving the tour.

June 27, '99:
~( sorry this is a little old) For the Blockbuster awards the Boys won for best group & Fave CD.
~Millennium" is currently #1 on the album charts in 12 countries and has been certified platinum in 21 countries in 7 days only. IWITW is currently at #1 in Canada and is as well #1 in most countries where it has been commercially released.
