A FAVORITE

This was something that I saw and it just made me think of one of my favorites by ol willy shakespeare.... so here is my favorite sonnet.....

CXXX
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun
Coral is far more red than her lips red
If snow be white why than her breasts are dun
If hairs be wire, black wires grow on her head
I have seen roses damask red, and white
But no roses grow on her cheeks
And in some perfume, is there more delight
Than the breathe my mistress reeks
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music has more pleasing sound
And grant I never saw a goddes go
My mistress when she walks, treads the ground
And yet by heaven I think my love as rare
And any she belied with false compare...

This holds alot of meaning in what it really means that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I love shakespeare, and will post some of his works regularly. I have his complete works. I doubt you shall ever find HAMELT, MACBETH...or ROMEO AND JULIET, here in it's entirety, perhaps a few stanzas...but something shall always be here.
