For the serious breeder our team of experts will analyze your mare and her breeding and offer you several choices of stallions whose bloodlines and dosage points will give you the best possibility of producing a stakes winner within your budget. We will make all the necessary arrangements so you can sit back and enjoy the breeding season.
After your mare has been bred, we will have her shipped to our farm, where she will enjoy lush, shaded pastures, the very best in hay and feed and be able to enjoy the Florida sunshine during her pregnancy while she receives the very best individual care a mother could want! After all, don't all mothers deserve to be pampered?
When your mare is getting close to the magical time of foaling, she will be monitored 24 hours a day to ensure a healthy and safe foaling experience. We specialize in maiden and problem mares with a vet and family on call until your mare delivers.
After the foal has its first vet visit, and upon recommendation of the vet, your mother and her baby will be allowed to frolic and play in lush pastures. This is where we feel we are different from the rest. We like to imprint our foals by handling them several times a day. We will tailor fit a program to your foal's needs, so it has the optimum chance of growing into a strong and healthy horse.
During your baby's yearling, or formative year, we will ensure that your pride and future money maker is mane and tail above the rest of their yearling class. Of course, the amount of knowledge your baby receives will depend upon his or her maturity level. We only teach them what they can learn, when they can learn it. One thing we guarantee is that your baby will be well-mannered and very well-received at the sales ring.
During your horse's 2 year old year, your future money maker will be broke, galloping and ready to work at the sales or to start at the track.
We like to think of our farm as a spa for horses by offering the opportunity of lay-up to those horses who are fatigued, lethargic, or injured. We offer daily turnout, individual feeding, and the very best in therapeutic care. Treat your horse to a daily massage, grooming, and plenty of room for rest and relaxation before they return to the races. Doesn't everyone deserve a vacation?
"At EIFARM we start grooming our babies as soon as possible in order to facilitate a strong bond between the owner and the horse. It also allows us look over your horse for any signs of sickness and injury"
