Bahamut, Guardian Force:
- After you get the ship, Ragnorak, fly down to the spot where the four corners of the map meet. There, you'll find some old ruins in the middle of the ocean. Land your ship on top of the ruins and go inside. Bahamut threatens you from within, but don't be too scared... he wasn't that difficult to me. When you enter, don't move or you'll immediately run into an enemy. You need to time your steps and wait for the light in the middle of the room to go dim. When it's bright, you will meet up with an enemy, no matter what you do. (don't try the Diablos enc-none ability... it doesn't work in this room)
Ok, once you're at the center, talk to the blue container and it'll ask you something. Answer whatever you wish, it doesn't matter right now. You'll fight a Ruby Dragon. My advice is to get the spell Aura and use your limit breaks repeatedly. After you defeat the Ruby Dragon, you'll be asked another question. Answer how you wish because this question doesn't matter either. Defeat the Ruby Dragon again. Now when you are asked a 3rd question, hit your cancel button (unless you changed it, it'll be the triangle) and you'll get a new option. Select the blank spot and you'll fight Bahamut.
Cactaur, Guardian Force:
- There's an island, near the desert, on the south east end of the centra continent. As you're flying near it, you'll see a tiny green cactus that pops up in random places. Land on the island and if you catch the cactus, you'll battle Cactaur.
Eden, Guardian Force:
- After defeating Bahamut, go down inside the center of the room. You'll find an underground lab. You'll have to go through a series of doors using a limited amount of energy to open them. Don't ask me how to do it, it looks complicated, but I got it on the first try... not hard. Once you get to the bottom of some fabulous scenery, you'll have to battle with The Ultima Weapon. (doesn't the weapon the beast is holding look terribly familiar?) I, once again, advise to use limit breaks on this thing to take it out quickly; however, before you kill it, make sure to draw the GF, Eden, out of it.
Eden is supposed to be the most powerful GF in the game. Once used, it will deal out around 40,000 points worth of damage... all at once. Which means that 9,999 is not the maximum attack number. When I first used it, Eden hit my opponents by 37,943. The problem with using Eden, however, is the fact that it takes about 5 minutes for all the summon graphic effects to run through when you call upon it. You'll see...
Getting AP the fast way:
- Remember that island with the Cactaur GF? You can fight small cacti that are kinda difficult to kill, but if you hit 'em, they'll usually die. I suggest junctioning water to your Elem-Attack... it'll hit them much harder, and I found that I hit them more often when I had water junctioned. They'll give you 20 AP a piece and they come in packs of 1-4. Happy hunting.
The Island Closest to Hell:
- Oooo... sounds spooky. It's the island that's furthest west on the map. Not only can you draw a small amount of the following spells repeatedly all around the edge of the island:
- Ultima
- Meteor
- Flare
- Holy
- Triple
- Full-Life
- Aura
... but also the enemies on the island are all level 100. Great for building up experience. I simply put 100 blinds junctioned to Squall, and the enemies couldn't hit me. I was beating them up at level 50 and I would earn around 3 levels per character per fight. Just simple things like Blue Dragons and T-Rexaurs, but there are a whole combination of enemies you'll run into, so be careful. If you just came for the spells, slap on your Enc-None ability from Diablos and suck up what you can.
The Island Closest to Heaven:
- Same deal as the island closest to Hell... the difference is that it's on the other side of the map (island closest to the upper right corner), it contains the spell Tornado, it's smaller, and it has different enemies.
Get the Lion Heart Sword on Disc 1:
- After getting the Minotaur Card in the Tomb of the Unknown King, you can refine it into Adamantine. Turn some Elnoyles into cards, and they can be refined into Energy Crystals which can be refined into Pulse Ammo. The Dragon Fangs can be found after defeating a T-Rexaur between the levels of 20-29.
Become Powerful Early in the Game:
- There are ways to get spells like Cura, Blizzara, Thundara, Fira, and Water (which will boost your stats pretty high for early in the game) before you even enter
the Fire Cavern at the Beginning of Disc 1. There is an area of beach near the garden. On it, you can fight two easy enemies that will give you a combined total of 6 AP per fight. They will also give you Fish Fins every round of battle. Use Quetzacoatl to learn the T Mag-RF ability and Shiva to learn the I Mag-RF ability. Learning the I Mag-RF ability will allow you to change 1 fish fin into 20 water spells. The T Mag-RF ability will allow you to learn the Mid Mag-RF ability which can turn 5 spells of Cure, Blizzard, Thunder, or Fire, into 1 Cura, Blizzara, Thundara, or Fira.
You won't be able to hit the red fish looking enemies very hard at the beginning of the game, so use your GF's to do your dirty work. The more you use them, the faster you can summon them and the more damage they'll do as they gain levels. Soon, you'll be able to take them out fairly quickly. Once you think you have a sufficient amount of power, continue in the game to become a SeeD. Don't forget to draw Siren from the boss on top of the communications tower.
Build up Siren to get the L Mag-RF ability at the beach. Now that you can gain money, go to the train station at Balamb and look for the item store. In it, you can buy tents. Buy as many as possible because the L Mag-RF allows you to refine 1 tent into 10 Curagas! You can now get about 3,000 HP or so on every character that can junction to HP, and you haven't even left Balamb yet! Using these powers, it shouldn't be too hard to draw other powerful spells from bosses, since they won't be able to hit you very hard, you'll have all the time you need to draw what you wish.
