Dwight's Birthday
Eleven Years Old

When it was time for Dwight to open his presents, Rosie said, "peasants for Rosie!" patting herself on the chest. I told her no, it's for Dwight, it's Dwight's birthday today, not Rosie's. "Peasants for Rosie!" she insisted. Nooooo .... Once she understood, she was fine and she let Dwight open his own presents.

Of course they had Dwight's favorite meal. Don't you love this picture of Madison and Bishy?

When I got Rosie out of her high chair after supper and set her down on the floor, she walked past I.D. (who was sitting on the other side of me) and said, "sah-ee (sorry), I.D." - she said his name perfectly! And she hadn't even seen him since before they went to Florida, so I wasn't even sure she remembered his name. She hadn't been quite sure what to call me when she first saw me - she started saying E.E. then it became the "yay" thing. And she still says E.E. sometimes.

When Dwight opened that Adventure Time birthday card from Laurie and Eric, Rosie gasped, she was so excited, lol. They LOVED it. And those books Laurie found are so unique, whoever even knew there was such a thing as a Lego Bible?!?

Can you tell how Dwight was laughing in this first picture? The present was wrapped in layers and layers of tissue paper, and he thought he'd never reach the middle.

Those kids had so much fun playing with those tiny little squirt guns. Sorry the picture of Dwight blowing out the candles is so blurry. I had to hurry up and catch the picture of Dwight blowing out the candles before he was finished, and I was all nervous about shutter delay, so the picture is a little blurry.

Rosie couldn't wait to have some cake and "eye keem" for dessert. Then she barely ate any of it. She mostly liked picking the mini-chocolate chips off the top and eating them. After we finished the cake and ice cream, Dave took Dwight to the store to spend his birthday money. Nobody gave him any games for his new x-box, so he really needed to go to the store! Laurie's Walmart gift card was perfect for that!!
