JEN: Dawson did?

CLIFF: Yes. In film class today.

JEN: (sees Dawson) Could you excuse me Cliff. . . I need to have a word with Dawson.

JEN WALKS TOWARD DAWSON. CUT TO PACEY CATCHING UP WITH JOEY OUTSIDE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE.

PACEY: Jo! Hey Jo, wait up a sec.

JOEY: What do you want Pacey? I'm kinda busy.

PACEY: I want you to put off signing and paper until after we talk.

JOEY: Why Pacey? What coudl you possibly say that would change my mind?

PACEY: Ok, I'm not sure. . . but I promised Dawson I would try to find out what's goign on with you.

JOEY: Dawson sent you?

PACEY: Yeah. . . he's worried.

JOEY: I don't have anything to say to him Pacey. He's made his decision and I've made mine.

JOEY: (looks at Pacey) I'm tired of being hte strong one. . . I'm tired of being the loyal puppy dog. I've been tagging along after Dawson for years,. I was to grow up Pacey. . . I want to move on. I want someone to kiss me because they find me desirable. . . not because they are afraid of losing my constant support.

PACEY: Jo. . . It's gonna be okay. Just talk to Dawson.

JOEY: (looks into acey's eyes) Kiss me Pacey.

JOEY: (defensive) This has nothing to do with Dawson.

PACEY: I'm not stupid Jo. . . your hurting because of Dawson. And decisions you make tonight are bound to be regrettable.

JOEY: Don't you want to kiss me Pacey?

PACEY: Well. . . maybe. . . but that's really not the issue here.

JOEY: (teasing tone) Then just do it. . . I prmoise I'll kiss you back this time.

PACEY: OK Jo, it's definatly time to go . . . your emotional stability is definatly in question here.

JOEY: Why because I finally know what I want. . . Pacey. . . I'm ready to take my life out of it's PG rating. (Joey pulls Pacey towards her and starts kissing him)

PACEY RESISTS THE KISS AT FIRST BUT THEN GETS INTO IT. AS THEY CONTINE TO KISS PACEY PULLS JOEY BACK DOWN ONTO THE BEACH.
